Oh heck Colleen just wear your bangs longer! If you go through w/ it we'll have to take a look at the before and after pix. Isn't that stuff made out of bee venom? Won't you swell up big time at first?

In order to promote healthier eating, FreshDirect never uses hydrogenated oil or artificial trans fat in either the foods we make or the foods we include within our Bakery, Heat & Eat, Ready-to-Cook or Catering departments.
We realize you may need more information to make the right decisions for yourself and your family, so our nutritionist has prepared this list of frequently asked questions about hydrogenated oil and trans fat.
What are hydrogenated oils?

Why is artificial trans fat (trans fatty acids) bad?trans fatty acid, which is commonly known as "trans fat."

What foods contain artificial trans fat?The body needs unsaturated fatty acids (monounsaturated and polyunsaturated) for proper growth, development and maintenance of good health; however, not all fatty acids are beneficial and studies have shown that artificial trans fat raises total blood cholesterol levels and LDL ("bad" cholesterol) while lowering HDL ("good" cholesterol) levels. This can increase the risk of coronary heart disease, which leads to heart attacks and increases the risk of strokes.

How can I avoid artificial trans fat in my diet?partially hydrogenated oils, such as vegetable shortening, margarine, crackers, candies, cookies, snack foods, fried foods, baked goods and other processed foods. Small amounts of naturally occurring trans fat can be found in butter, milk products, cheese, beef and lamb.

Should trans fat be completely eliminated from the diet?
The best way to avoid dietary trans fat is to read both the Nutrition Facts Panel and the ingredient statement and to avoid those products that contain hydrogenated oil.

What does a "trans fat free" claim mean?
Conversely, dairy and meat products also provide beneficial nutrients (such as protein and calcium), and it's worth noting that naturally occurring trans fat may not have the same negative effect on health as the artificial trans fat from partially hydrogenated oil.

For more information, check out the trans fat nutrition labeling area on the FDA website: FDA does not have a final definition for "trans fat free," but has proposed that a product can be labeled "trans fat free" if it contains less than 0.5 grams of trans fat and less than 0.5 grams of saturated fat per serving. All products on our site that make the "trans fat free" claim meet this FDA proposal.

Bee venom? I thought it was from the botulism toxin (limberneck) in ducks. Having second thoughts sounds like a GOOD idea to me! :yikesu:

Too late!! My forehead has been frozen in time now! Ha ha ha. Already my eye's seem bigger and the eyebrow is higher up and it feels like a mini brow lift!! I was frowning so hard it was bringing my brows down Lower. In a couple days the forehad should appear more smother and there is no swelling! Was no big deal and it cost me 240 dollars. Should hold for maybe as long as a year!

well I wonder how effective this botox is, I can still make the krinkle, not as much, but it does feel like I got a eyebrow lift, cause I am not pulling down the eyebrows so much now and the crease seems to be going away. I think I will need another treatment to quit crinkling in that one spot, It takes a couple days my friend says, who had it done in June, and now she looks much younger and her hubby does not say to her that she looks cranky anymore. When you frown lots it looks like you are cranky when you are in fact happy! I was tired of people at work asking me if I was cranky, so I decided to get the botox. I work very hard and I just wanted to spend my money on myself for a change. I just want the tired cranky look gone.

This is day one, I think it looks better already.

Two pictures Before, with the creases between the eyes and two pictures after. you can see the red needle marks between the eyes...

It says it can take 3 to 5 days to see the effects of Botox, so I will get better pictures then, in case anyone out there is interested in getting this done. This was my first time getting it done. Anyone else who may have had it done, I would be interested to know how it worked for you...

You are right John. Bee venom is used for other beautifulicious things:

If you want to really 'bee' beautiful, bee venom is the way to go. The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly relied upon bee venom to knock her skin into shape before the royal wedding; the Duchess of Cornwall is now also a huge fan.
We put BeeBio Venomous Bee Venom and Fruit Booster Face Mask ($89.50) and By Nature Bee Venom Face Creme ($14.99) to the test.

These two new products both rely on the poison, which is used cosmetically to fool the skin into thinking it has been stung. Under 'assault', it produces more collagen and elastin, which makes it look younger and firmer.

Both of these great creams do essentially the same thing (the By Nature crème can also be used as a mask), hydrating the skin and helping it shore up its natural defenses against sun damaging and aging.

So Colleen if the botulism stuff doesn't work maybe you can try what the royalty used next time?

What is Botox? http://www.drugs.com/botox.html
Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA), also called botulinum toxin type A, is made from the bacteria that causes botulism. Botulinum toxin blocks nerve activity in the muscles, causing a temporary reduction in muscle activity.
Botox is used to treat cervical dystonia (severe spasms in the neck muscles), muscle spasms in the arms and hands, severe underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis), urinary incontinence in people with neurologic conditions and to prevent headaches in adult patients with chronic migraine.
Botox is also used to treat certain eye muscle conditions caused by nerve disorders. This includes uncontrolled blinking or spasm of the eyelids, and a condition in which the eyes do not point in the same direction.
Botox is also used to treat overactive bladder and incontinence (urine leakage) caused by nerve disorders such as spinal cord injury or multiple sclerosis.
Botox is also used to prevent chronic migraine headaches in adults who have migraines for more than 15 days per month, each lasting 4 hours or longer. Botox should not be used to treat a common tension headache.
Botox Cosmetic is used to temporarily lessen the appearance of facial wrinkles.
Botox may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Botulism also causes ducks to lose control of their neck muscles, a condition commonly known as 'limberneck'. The disease is usually fatal. Of course, the medical types don't advertise THAT side of it! :zombie:
