i have never used flax seed for anything... i cook with coconut and olive oils only. hemp seed, and nut oils are for cold uses. and not all animal fats are healthy, with what commercially grown beef, chicken etc. are fed... toxins are stored as metabolites in fatty tissues. non antibiotic, hormone treated, natural grass fed livestock, yes. most today, not so much. i know the bible says to not eat pork,(swine) or shell fish, like crab, lobsters,etc.. all scavengers are here to clean the earth, not to be eaten. pigs store more toxins that any other land mammal. they dont even have sweat glands. and food from the waters should have fins and scales. but i dont recall ever reading anything about flax seed oil in the bible tho.

NO the bible does not mention flax seed oil which is not a saturated fat, but a polyunsatured fat. It does however say the animal fat is the best, remember the story of Cain and Able, Cain offered the Lord the fruit of the soil of the land, and Able offered the Lord the Fat of the newborn flock, guess which one the Lord rejected because it was NOT the best?

The bible does however talk much about coconuts. :)

i dont want to debate bible issues, but i think you misinterpetated the reason for the rejection.
like the woman who only gave a single coin, yet Yeshua said she gave more than anyone for it was her last coin.

OK I found the part in the bible, Song of Soloman 7:7

Coconut oil is predominantly a medium chain fatty acid, where do you find large concentrations of medium chain fatty acids other than coconut oil? ....... Mothers Milk!

Yes we now know that Coconut oil is just like your Mothers milk, which is also a pure unadulterated saturated fat! The bible says that God gave King Soloman wisdom. If you read Song of Soloman it says..... "thy stature is like a palm, thy breast is like a cluster of grapes" Yes we are like a palm where coconuts grow, cause our blood plasma is identical to coconut oil, that is why coconut oil is the only oil that you can directly inject into the bloodstream, that is why coconut oil is in the "nutritional supplemental IV" bags in the hospital. That is right, read the back of that IV bag ( nutritional supplemental I.V. bag) next time you are in the hospital!!

And a long long time ago, King Soloman knew that coconuts were just like our breasts, not talking about the shape, but the content!

NO miss interpretation, the words are quite clear, as it is in other parts of the bible! When God asked for a for sacrifice, did He say, "go and pick the sickest and weakest lamb because it is going to die anyway"? NO, God only wanted the best! So we offered the Him the very best. BUT the story does not end there.... GOD also instructed the priest to sacrifice the internal organs ( because pound for pound they are the most nutritionally dense food on planet Earth) and the FAT! Why the FAT? because it is going to make the fire burn good? Again NO, because the fat is the very best!

There are many cultures in recorded history that have survived on a died of 95% saturated fat, like those indigenous people that live in the High Arctic, they give the meat to the sled dogs! They eat just the FAT and do very well on just the FAT, and never get a heart attack, never get a stroke, have a cardiovascular system of an athlete and they live in a diet on 95% saturated FAT!

thats why it was the offering of choice...he took the best of the best... it cost him something. not because it was meat. offering up what is plentiful, and you wont really miss it.. isnt a "sacrifice". had he only 2 tomatoes and offered them it would have been a greater sacrifice... but i dont want to argue the bible. i will say, anything after the King James version is often and increasingly misstranslated from the original text (manuscripts).
so i will leave it at that.
and i might add...flax seeds (and their oils) are known to have antinflammatory properties, used medicinally...tho i've never tried it as a suppliment or medicine.

Yes, lots of bad translations for sure. I just think saturated animal fats have gotten a bad rap as it is the food of our forefathers. It is funny how we are led to believe that saturated fat is bad. We have been eating it since the time of the bible and before that too. I will always believe that the fat was the best.

Did you know in the middle east people drink sheep fat and are very very healthy and slim?

Did you know that a heart attack is a new disease? We never used to get heart attacks over a hundred years ago, when all we ate was saturated animal fat? No body ever threw out the animal fat, it was always saved, everthing was fried in animal fats?

Did you know that doctors are trained by the pharmaceutical companys? Funny how they like to tell you saturated fat is bad and may lead to a heart attack when it is now common knowledge all over the world that a heart attact is caused by a virus?

Did you know you cannot become diabetic from eating too much animal fat?

Did you know that you can become diabetic from eating too much fruit and fruit juice?

Speaking of good foods for great health I have just finished a quarter pound 7/11 hot dog with mayo, extra mayo, catsup, dab of mustard, topped with a mixture of diced bell pepper, onion, tomato and cilantro. Washed it down with a fifty-nine cent Big Gulp coke. Such a delightful brunch on a chilly Thursday morning.

so wheres the "good food for great health" ? mayo = dead calories, extra mayo = more dead calories. catsup especialy heinz= HFCS which means blood sugar spikes and leaky gut syndrome. hot dogs = nitrates and nitrites( carcinogens), and other chemical preservatives, not to mention meat that has been treated with ammonia to make it considered "edible". big gulp = more HFCS.. diet pop is even worse! the little bit of nutrition provided by the peppers, onion, cilantro, and tomatoe is far out weighed by the toxins you ingested. ENJOY!
that said ...i occassionally enjoy a dog myself...but in a years time you could count 'em on one hand.

It was delicious! Do not get me wrong, I appauld your quest. Koiguy my friend, I have numerous maladies not related to the type of food consumed. It is true I should lose more weight. Luckily, I consistently drop a couple of ponds a month. When a person goes through so much health trama enjoying food is such a pleasure. Keep up your good works.
