MIL got it and it kicked her ass for 10 days. Then she got better for a week before it came back and kicked her ass again for another week.

Heal up and get well soon. What were your first symptoms? I'm sitting here w/sniffles,scratchy throat and clearing my throat wondering if I have it? Prolly not and I need to load the wood into the woodshed so no time for it :)

One of the outstanding projects to the pond was finishing the bogs exterior. While it's still not quite 100 % I built a stone wall out from the mafia blocks about a foot . And as the wall was built the void was filled with rocks concrete. What ever I could get my hands on that was not biodegradable. Like the left over mortar and concrete from when the pond was built " no snakes in this wall"
The 6 foot height was dried to 4'-6" as a dry stack at 6 feet tall is a hole other animal to insure it doesn't topple over onto someone.
Here's to stone walls

Looks good. I suppose with the mafia blocks, the stone just has to hold itself up and not actually retain anything?

correct it only is holding basically a window box sorta speak . i lined the trench with fabric and then a section of rubber so the plants would not need constant watering.

Well, of course, they're not going anywhere with you sitting in that chair watching them all the time! ;-)

After viewing your showcase/build one can only utter "holy shit!' as one gathers one's jaw up off the floor. Wow,

Have you noticed yourself wearing nothing but fig leaves and refusing to go to work ever again?

Try not to eat the apple this time...

By work if you mean telling corporate to take a deep dive and for myself to go build ponds for others i'm game, to get paid for what i love doing ...............Hell yeah . but I'm afraid the fig leaf is going to have to wait. i doubt anyone would enjoy the view especially from behind........

but thanks for the compliment it is humbling, and it made me chuckle....
