Oh i don't know about that, but Thank you. I know I don't have his kind of money, he's got to be worth 100,000,000 .You’re at his level my friend.
I have never been one to be star struck Meeting or having someone in the public eye, really care about what they did or how they felt . The average joe carried as much weight. How ever having Greg Wittstock want to add my pond to his list of Vlogs and to Share my photos on his site , I have to admit gives me a great sense of accomplishment.
Thanks for the high praise. And I hadn't got to comment soon been fighting covid that last week it has not been a Pickwick by any meansWow! That really is an accomplish meant, as you've got some stiff competition there! But your pond definitely ranks up there with the very best professionally built water features. In my opinion, it's even better than most of them, simply because you've lived with it enough to know exactly how to improve it.

The neons were added and they were cool the first year but then do not survive the winter. They realy didn't show all that much. I switched over to glow fish danios and they are great you can see them about anywhere in the pond. They have bread like rabits I put in 100 originally and we are way past that now. I do not know if they will survive the winter ill catch a good bunch of them and put them in an aquarium for the water. And we'll see if the others make it on there own.I just finished reading through this thread over the past couple of weeks. This is truly incredible, amazing work. I have written down a ton of tips for planning my pond, I really appreciate how thorough you were in documenting everything.
A couple questions for you:
You mention you placed a school of neon tetras in, maybe last year or the year before. How did they do? What happened over winter? I love this idea.
Do you like the bottom drain? If you did it over, would you do that the same? I am struggling on this and keep going back/forth.
Thanks!
They are booked for a year. I guess I have passed the first three tests . The woman who has interviewed me was very nice.asked all kids of questions. I gave her a link here and to the showcase where she said in the mean time she wanted to put together an article on my pond on the Aquascape web site.Just found the post of FB and put some likes on it. Do you have a link to the Vlog itself? Did they come and videotape it? I'd love to see them do a full feature just on your pond!
In a larger pond but not a lake I feel bottom drains are indespensable.I just finished reading through this thread over the past couple of weeks. This is truly incredible, amazing work. Hope you're feeling better now. Covid is seriously bad news. My youngest stepdaughter was left with balance issues after it, and has been walking with a cane for the past 6 months. Thanks for the high praise.
