I've worked with some people who I'm pretty sure would be much more tolerable to work with if they had their brains removed.HARO said:I've worked with several people who fit that description!!!! :disappointed_anim:

Sorry to hear. That's my fear right now. Its my pond's first winter and there was only a thin layer of muck built up on the bottom. I have a bunch of Hornwort at the bottom and 2 small pots too, so I'm hoping its enough for them. So far, I've see three frogs alive and appeared to be ok, I have 4 frogs total. Now it's just a waiting game. Really hoping winter wraps up in March rather than April.Tula said:Found a deceased frog on the bottom of my pond today I removed the gravel and overgrown lilies from the bottom of my pond this fall…….wonder if poor froggy just didn't have enough debris to over winter in. Felt sad and hope I didn't make a mistake removing the gravel…..don't want a barren landscape.
I don't have much if any muck on the bottom, have netted it out pretty much every year. The frogs always come back, they find a place to hide for the winter. Have never found any dead ones.JBtheExplorer said:Sorry to hear. That's my fear right now. Its my pond's first winter and there was only a thin layer of muck built up on the bottom. i cant actually attest to that one way or another. this is a south american frog. i didnt take the picture. wasnt there and have no idea how to find out. but i am willing to post this disclaimer: " i hope no frogs were injured in the taking of this photo."....lol it is rather cool tho!CountryEscape said:Oh, that is sooooo cool! You needed to add, "No frogs were injured in this photo." :blueflower:
