It might very well be a good idea to let the weight of the water settle everything before you weigh down the excess liner. I would put random rocks on it so the wind doesn't get under it and cause problems.

That's a big liner. You'll have to invite some friends over for a liner party!

Everything looks great so far!

I'm going to attempt to move it with 1 other guy. It could turn out to be a bad experience. But I live in a bit of a remote area so getting help with stuff is not easy.

What size liner did you get ? good deal you got some non woven fabric on a pond this size i would not chance much with dyi ideas.
And to answer your question IT MATTERS NOT IT WOULD BE NICE IF MOTHER NATURE COULD FILL IT FOR YOU WITH ONE OF THOSE 8 TO 10 RAIN EVENTS SO YOU CAN CHECK FOR LEAKS BEFORE THE STONE WORK STARTS. sorry for yelling

I'm going to fill it 1/2 way with the hose to protect the shelves from caving in as they are still a bit soft. After that I'm hooking up my roof gutters to it and letting good old mother earth do the work. In about 2 weeks or so I will drain it and start the rock work.
I'm super glad to hear it does not have an inside and outside. That would be a nightmare to flip it over.
