Very nice picture. I add a little water from the pond slowly into the bag to get them used to the water also.

Goldfish and shubunkins are both more forgiving in ponds then koi.

shubunkins may not be good for his depth of water .I still remember my horror a couple of months ago when mine jumped out of the water .Then to find out they sometimes do that during mating .I think the fan tail goldfish are the cutest

They should say and I think the first year or so and they you will have to go bigger and devide it .It looks healthy now so it must have a good root system .You may have to fertilize it since you have no fish yet .Addy uses fertilizer and I think jw does .This is my first year with them myself because koi destroy plants but I guess lilies are not much to there liking .I also had a talk with the fish LOL I have 6 flowers buds coming up and will open soon ,so I have my camera ready

I use plant tabs, some other use tomato sticks, you want a high middle number.

When the plant goes dormant for winter you could divide it then or in the spring before it really gets growing. I got some new ones right before winter, divided them up, stuck in the pond and they did fine growing this summer.

Ok thanks addy I will look for some fertilizer. And over winter I will put it in my little pond because it says for winter it should have 24" of water and if I do put it in 24" of water and its not big enough for the actual pads to be on top of the water is that alright?
