I emailed them and they said they have 4-5" assorted colors for $10 each so I think that's probably the better route to go because then I can pick the colors I want

Also does anyone know where to get hardy water lilies for a good price? Because one of my local nurseries has them for $40 or is that about what they cost

I will ask them if they have any lilies because they do build ponds as well. I thought that was a better price and then I don't have to pay $45 to ship them. So do you think the fish will do alright in the pond since the deepest part is only about a foot and a half?

how hot is your water and you may have to put up something to shade it for now .But a foot and half may not be good enough for the winter unless you can get pond deicers .Now is the time to get them ,they are on sale .You will need an oxygen pump also .How cold are your winters and do you have predators that could get your fish .I put a shade sail over my pond .It was cheap and you can take it down .Does your electric go out in the winter because that could be a problem also .Does your pond freeze over in the winter .Alot here who live in cold states have basement tanks for there fish in the winter

I actually haven't taken any temperatures of the water yet but I could put up some shade that's why I was thinking of maybe getting the water lilies now and waiting on the fish for awhile but Idk yet. And I would have to get a tank for the winter to keep them in my house because my pond will freeze solid

I bought my deicer at pet mountain 750 watts for 30 dollars and this will be the first winter I use it .After the last 2 winters it has been bad here ..Remember koi are more work and get really large my 1 koi was a couple of inches long when I got her and now she is ovver 2 feet long after 6 years and they produce a lot of waste .Takes a lot of filtering .They place that has koi usually have goldfish also .They are much easier to take care of and can take more abuse than koi .The water needs tested a lot with koi .

I have goldfish and koi and you can mix them .Get goldfish this year and put them in a tank for the winter and next year you could go with another pond for koi .
