Geeze your in stone heaven the best way to find where you want a stone is look at the pics you take and imagine the stone in different spots and which way would give you the best look .I do that all the time take a pic where I think I want something and then look at the pic and try to imagine it there and that helps a lot .I just got 2 feather stones from a hotel yesterday .I went shopping and they were clearing out the landscaping at a hotel in Martinsville and I happen to drive by and saw some interesting stuff so went back and asked and they even put it in my truck .I got 2 pretty gold mop cypresses too .Never hurts to ask .

wow that stone is something .Would be pretty with a hole drilled in it and leaning over your pond .Or you could lean it over your pond with a a tree hanging over it with the hose hidden and going up the back side and running water down it into another pond if you could build another pond right there you would not have to move it much .Wow ideas cost money LOL Here they charge you 5o dollars to drill a hole in a rock and they come to your house also .If you buy the rock from them it is only 30 dollars .

wow love that boulder! I have lots of spots it would work in if you want to deliver it.

They charge a 100 bucks to drill rocks here, just picked up a drilled one for our deck pond.

Where in location to the pond is it? can you move it? Like sissy says have water run off it into the pond would be great, I have done that with a rock, looks great.

I thought about making a hole in it and making it a water feature and the spot for the hole is in a spot I could drill out myself maybe it can be the water feature for the new pond. Addy its just by the side of my driveway because when I unloaded it I didn't know where to put it and I can move when I find a place for it. Also how big is the drilled rock you bought and what did you have to pay for it if you don't mind me asking because I got mine for $45 and its about 2 1/2' tall and about 14" wide and 10" thick

The rock was cheap, 15 dollars, the hole cost 100 no matter the size of the rock. It is around 25 inches biggest side, around 6-8 inches tall. 260 lbs, did not want a real big one, we had to haul it through the house to get it to the deck and then lift it into the new pond. So some size limitations. Will post some pictures in my construction thread soon.

like your rock, the bowl makes it have a nice water flow.

That's crazy that no matter the size of the rock it costs $100 it should be cheaper for smaller rocks. I'm sure that was fun taking your rock through your house and then having to pick that big thing up to get in your pond

If I had shopped around, may have found somewhere else that drills rocks. Honey and I even talked of doing it our selves, but we don't have any diamond drills.

I agree smaller should be cheaper........oh well

The rock I picked up was already drilled and fit perfectly. My honey used brains rather than brawn to move it, we slid it out of the truck on plywood, used a utility cart to move it through the house. Was able to slide it onto a piece of plywood over to the area we wanted it. Then he and I picked it up to place it. Worked out great. It fits our new little pond perfectly
