My all time favorite is the Coffeemate Carmel something or other! They only have it in the small container at the local grocery store, but not in the larger one except fat free, and what fun is that? LOL I also like the International Coffee White Chocolate Macadamia Nut one. The store got a new one in from Coffeemate - White Chocolate Carmel Latte, that I will open tomorrow and try. I pretty much like them all, but some are more favorites.
If I have a real coffee (with full caffeine), I will wake up with a headache at about 3 or 4 a.m. the following day, and have the headache until I have my first cup of coffee. And, knowing that my coffee is made up of 2/3 decaffeinated beans and only 1/3 or less regular, that is really strange to me! Guess it doesn't take much to get rid of the caffeine headache. I used to have headaches all the time, even before I drank coffee, but maybe I drank tea and/or soda with caffeine back then. Anyhow, ever since I pretty much got rid of caffeine in my diet, the headaches have disappeared completely. I sure don't miss them either, let me tell you! I was soo tired of taking advil or tylenol or alleve every single day. Now, only very seldom do I have to take anything, and knowing that the coffee will get rid of any headache I may have, I'm good to go!
I turned my waterfall back on this evening. The ponds are totally thawed out on their own, no heater running for close to 2 weeks now. Hoping temps will stay warm enough at nights to allow the waterfall pipes not to freeze this time. We shall see!

Yes, my pond heater has not been on for about two weeks also! The weather here couldn't be better for us. Today's high was 45 and by Saturday we might go as high as 60, depending on what station you listen to.

I just have a thin layer of ice on the pond left, here and there, but last time I looked today, it was melting fast and almost gone!

So you run a pump all winter to circulate the stream and the pond, sounds good to me. Looks like you have no heater and no problems to date?
What i did this year was I left the bubbler going, and took a little 450 gallon per hour pump, put it in the pond and ran 3/4" tubing up into the mouth of the stream, about 3' from where it enters the pond just to circulate the water. When both of those failed to keep a hole in the ice I added the pond heater I have, its only a 100w heater designed to only melt the ice its sitting on. It worked, melted through 3" or more of ice when I first put it out there. It disappears under snow here and there, only to eventually melt the snow above it and reappear. Its in the pictures above somewhere. I've also left the pump and bubbler going all winter.

Yep looks like a hole in the snow to me but won't be long till it opens up from the warmth of the Spring sunshine! I have to worry now w/ a new grand baby coming over when she starts getting around on her own. I have a fence around mine but still won't ever take my eyes off her when she's here!
How old is she JW?

I love the flavored creamers right now i am totally loving bailys french vanilla it is really thick and good .and has really nice flavor compared to the others .
My favorite is Irish Cream. Was getting the international delight brand, until we got a bunch of coupons for the Bailey's (NA Creamer) ahd have been getting that since.

Patty,
I always thought it was the absence of the caffeine, that brought about the headache, not the other way around! But glad you got it figured out!

Well it sounds like your pond is did pretty good. My 1500 watt heater also can get buried under the ice and snow, but the water flow pushing the heat from the heater down stream and a hole opens up there.

I have been known to get cranky and a small headache if I don't get my coffee fix!

Actually, yes, Herz, it IS the absence of the caffeine. BUT, if you take caffeine out of your diet, and then put it back in (like I had 2 raspberry teas at lunch the day before the headache), then your body goes through withdrawal again, which is how I got the headache. Make sense? If you continually have caffeine in your diet all days long (coffee, coke, etc.) you probably never have a headache, but take either the morning or afternoon doses away and you will likely have the headache. I am trying to avoid it all, for the most part, to keep the headaches away, and it has worked out very well. Not for everyone, but I don't care about the caffeine, never did like coke or pepsi, so doing the decaf has made the diff for me.

So it sounds like you get headaches from caffeine both ways, had never heard of a headache from caffeine before, really glad I don't get that, like Colleen & the rest I'm addicted & crabby if I don't get my coffee in the morning. :) glad you have it figured out.

So here is how the snow partially covered the hole.

The small hole to the right of the bigger one is the heater.

Here are a couple pics of the pond and drifts as a whole.

Awe, JW, you must be so proud of that cute little baby! If it was not for grandma, she would not be here! Think of all the babies you will have helped make 100 years from now! I am sure there will be little JW's running around everywhere! Mind boggling! Wouldn't you like to see that!! :)

We were up to 57 degrees today! Can you believe that? Snow is gone, as is the ice from my pond!! Humm, today is March 1st, wonder if that old saying is true ..... "in like a lamb, out like a lion!" Does this mean I am going to get a blizzard at the end of March??

I love her so much! Yes Colleen I will look down from Heaven 100yrs from now and peek at what they are all doing. They better all behave themselves or I'll come down and bug them. Maybe I can put in for an angel job to guard and watch over them

Patty I'm with you! Hoping for an easy march! Lol

Very nice picture JW! She is adorable, be ready she will grow up fast, mine are! My fish are all still smaller, but sure I will have to be more vigilant about it as they get bigger. Figure I get some nice insulation from all the snow too, sure it is helping my bonsai trees in pots outside too.

Colleen I am jealous of the weather, but probably more jealous of that Jade plant you have in the first pic!

The sun is shining today which is a nice change, so here are some pics in the sunshine. Notice all the rabbit tracks!

You either have a ton of rabbits or just a couple that like to hop all over your whole yard herz! Must still be pretty cold there cuz sun isn't melting your snow or did you get more last night? We got hail along w/ sun and rain today. Heading down to below freezing tonight. Oh Spring please don't forsake me!
Thanks for the nice compliment on Zoey herz. She is a such a sweetie pie :luxlove:
And they do grow up way to fast!
