Today, our rooftop solar installation (installed way back in June) finally got hooked up to the national grid! Mazal tov!

Just in time for the first rain of the year... Oh well, there will yet be sunny days!

@addy does your boat remain docked over the winter? I remember Dad doing one of two things, it was in a boat house with bubblers in the water around it or it was taken out of the water and stored in a ware house. Of course, this was in Northern MI.

We leave ours in water. The marina puts bubbles in. Water is off around mid Nov. we still come over for a week or so during the winter. Our winters can be mild or now and then cold.

We have divers clean the bottom every 6 weeks or so. Ow it would be loaded with all sorts or growth and critters. They do the last clean in Oct. Start back up in April.

Well, finally replacing my very old laptop. Windows 7 is long gone, no updates. Turbotax just notified me that they are now no longer running on windows8. Had used hubbies laptop last 2 years but he doesn't use it much and there are issues with it.
Christmas will be early this year. HP 14" with touch screen running windows11. hopefully I will be able to figure it out. Heard 11 is much easier than 10.

I have a HP with win 11, you should like it.. Easy to figure out and use.

Love the touch screen.

Not a fan of touch screens if using the computer alot . I prefer the mouse with the thumb roller ball. the mouse never has to move, and very easy to use

Bounce between a phone , tab, computer, automatically go to touch.

Same here, phone, tablet and laptop. Could be why i have ulnar nerve issues! Old laptop isn't touchscreen so wireless mouse.

I usually have 3 pups in lap. Laapy does not fit, and forget a mouse except the touch pad.

Since my hand surgeries, I can now use tab a lot easier, no more numbness.

Earliest I could get an appointment for a nerve study is Dec. 20th!

My doc had a appt for me within a week. He was fixing my broken wrist. After the cast was off I told him my broken wrist did not hurt but my hand kept me up all night. I would walk the house at night rubbing it.

One arm serious, one arm moderate, and both elbows have trapped nerves.

The numbness. Being woken up at night, pain is gone. Both hands weak but recovering. Should have done years ago, lol. I blamed it all on the osteo.

Our roof is covered with panels. If we generate enough we get a electric co rebate.

I have a feeling I'll be scooping leaves from the pond today. Without koi I'm not covering the pond and we had a badly needed rain last night.
