@addy1 , I didn't realize bees fly all winter and of course they'd need a water source.
They slow down on flying once we stay below 40 the problem here is our temps jump around so much. We no longer get just cold and stay cold.
The ponds have been staying liquid almost the entire winter, of course we could get hit with a cold winter, maybe. Saying this year just wet and cold minimal snow.
Living here as a kid, we had horrendous ice storms, dad made a skating rink in our back yard, stayed frozen all winter, never again here.
Hard to put out seeds in the late fall for growth in the spring, we get a warm spell they grow, then a freeze, they die.
