@addy1 i need to switch off big aerator and plug in smaller one, as temps are soon dropping. Hubby cut my lillies back early this year , I’ll work on them next Spring.

I got the rest of the big pond done, found two more lilies. And decided to pot a few of those huge healthy tubers, covered with buds. Could not just toss them into the dump pile. Then went through a few of the pans and pulled tubers that had no growth and small growth, a mini hard groom. Still have not put in the pond breathers, still have the big pond running, but going off soon. Letting it clear up some after yanking stuff.
In the mud found a ton of those little red worms, felt bad for them, but did not have enough energy left to wash them out of the dirt and toss back into the pond. Did try to find the big trap door snails and tossed them back into the pond.

I need to wade in the 1000 gallon pond and cut off the lily leaves , no grooming they are living free in that pond

so, it's been a while then, huh? (hint, hint)!
Way back then the traffic was horrible, then I lived in AZ for over 40 years a bit hard to drive it.

We might might not, signed the final docs on the boat, they are fixing a oil cooler or something like that. It has to be fixed ow it will leak and sink the boat long before we get to MD. So now high on the list is getting to NJ once it is fixed and get the boat to MD. Ordered it overnight, last week, still waiting for the arrival. And the mechanic's wife is having surgery, told him that is highest priority rather than fixing a boat. The owner said it can sit in his slip until we can arrange all. He owns the slip, a hoa boat slip condo.

Our neighbor is driving us to the ferry, two hours from our current boat, in Delaware, then sitting in our old boat with our pups until we get there. A 8 hour boat ride. Then we need to move our old boat to a different cheaper marina to make room for the new boat. And maybe it will sell, if not wait till spring.

At this time catching up on ponds, yard, bees before we need to do boat work. So not sure if we can squeeze in a drive. Our temps are going from 80 yesterday to 50's today.

Never had I ever heard of a bomb cyclone but guess we had one over the last couple days. It effected some places worse then others here. We got lucky w/just rain and some mild winds. I was able to get in my walks so all is good. Sipping my green tea and hoping for a dry walk today.

The Boats name Hakuna Matata, "no worries for the rest of your days" from the lion king

A new old boat to be. Can't afford a new one at over 600k if not more., well we could if we sold house, cars etc and became live aboards. But I am too restless would never survive with just sitting on a boat.

This one is very well taken care of, same owners for 17 years before them one owner. It needs a good buff and polish on the outside, inside is perfect. You missed my post a bit back about it. Dear hubby said he loved this type of boat and wanted to upgrade to it from our searay. So 24 hours later we had a contract on it. It takes about a month to go through the inspection, survey etc. A few things wrong that are being fixed, then we need to go to NJ to get it back to MD. Might as well spend our money while we can lol, but within reason. IE a older boat not a brand new one!

They just put in new carpet, we will be taking our shoes off before entering. There is always a black grit on docks, boats think it is from the planes that fly over or just good old debris in the air. It sticks to your shoes feet, so shoes off.

Our searay is up for sale.

(where's the damn singing smilie, [USEuse R=2547]@addy1[/USER] !!!!)
lol you are a crack up!

Fed the bees, treated for mites, again. Today bouncing back up to 70ish so going to groom the 1000 pond and shut the big pump off then groom the bog. Time to pull and toss. Chop back the yellow flag it has grown a bit too much. Already did a hard purge of some of the iris and sweet flag.

Need to purge the deck pond, way overloaded with plants.

Then maybe in the spring I can ignore the ponds again..........................

Well here is the bog before and after: The yellow flag iris is about 2 feet deep 5 feet wide. in the before
Left the canna it is still blooming beautifully.

The yellow flag is now about a foot deep and about 3-4 feet wide. Found out what works great a reciprocating saw, cut off the green, then cut down in the tuber, use a shovel lift out. I was using a knife than thought of the saw, quick easy done.

Had to convince a bunch of small frogs to get into the pond, save some tadpoles. Tossed all the junk to the far side of the bog wall eventually will get the tractor and pick it up, or let it just poof away.
