DEPLORABLE EVERY MILE OF THE WAY .
When i was coming back last night on the bike as im riding through a resivour area a state park. The car in front of me with save the planet /global warming and green piece sticks plastered all over the car . Rolls down the passenger window and throws out there leftover ice cream plastic cup spoon and napkins. Now for get about that i actually got a little splatter. That ticket me right off we happened to come to a stop as someone was turning. I pulled around infront of them and made the ass walk back and go clean up there crap. People who had no clue what was going on were a bit pissed but it seemz the car behind me saw what happened and ridiculed the couple.
Practice what you frikin preach . Every time i go for a hike in the middle of no where its always water bottles thrown about . Not soda or as it use to be beer.

Good for you @GBBUDD ! My hubby did that once also. Some guy threw stuff out his car window and hubby picked it up and got out at the next light next to the car. The guy rolled his window down and hubby tossed the garbage in his window and said to him "I think you dropped this"! The guy rolled up his window w/a shocked look and drove off slowly

Hubby and i would get along just fine.
This is not the first time some thing like this happened . I saw a kid years ago dump his pizza box napkins paper plates and plastic cups out the window of a jaguar . right in front of my home. I FOLLOWED on the bike and followed him only a couple miles to where he pulled into a home got out and walked right in the house. well i didn't know for sure he lived there or if the girl did but i figured if they were close enough to walk right in it was good enough for me. I went back picked up his crap and took all my trash put it in my truck and drove back to the house. Took the trash sliced open the bags and dumped it all over the front yard on the grass in the bushes I wish I had more . When a guy came out hotter then hell and I explained to him what was going on and I saved the pizza and crap for last and dumped it out. The guy called the kid out who was his son driving dads car. Dad apologized to me made the kid apologize and told me not to worry about a thing he would take care of it . I drove off

Would you please
Could you please
Please
Won't you be my Neighbor!

One time he was in a rest area and two guys speaking Russian got out of a car and both threw gator ade bottles onto the grass. He told them if that was the way they were gonna treat our country then go back to Russia! They picked up the bottles and said what you got to badmouth our country for?

Treating bees, feeding bees, filling a dumpster #6 this year and huge dumpster, cleaning out garages.

Gave away a ton of tools to a guy that came to work on our AC unit ie installing a new one. Filled up his car, he was thrilled! Nice kid, neighbors nephew. We were not using so I figured he could use them. Some brand new, late hubby bought I hauled across country. We need the room lol. Can now get 6 cars into garages!

And found the leak makers, around 6 raccoons walked across the loop ponds right where they can push down rocks and liner. Around 6am. We are going to make a raccoon bridge

Not a lot going on outside anymore. I've been collecting seeds here and there but not much else.
I've been a bit bored lately, so I've been getting back into arts and crafts stuff again. I thought I'd share some of the things I've made over the past two weeks.

I made a scarecrow Halloween decoration for my mom, but I liked it so much that I also made one for myself.

I also made a mountain ornament.

I started this one last year but didn't finish it until now. I might add a bit more to it, but I'm pretty happy with it at the moment.

My dad's been really into baseball lately so I made him a Milwaukee Brewers ornament.

Lastly, I made this small racetrack shelf for some of my diecasts.

We are back to our boat taking more stuff out, dear hubby said lets upgrade our boat, so we are in the process of doing so. Just a quick day trip to the boat and back. unreal how much stuff you accumulate in a boat in two years of use.
Lots of tools from all the work I have been doing on the boat.

Finally getting my new security system running and visible away from home. It would have helped if they just said to download the website instead of trying to set up ddns!

Getting stuff ready to go to bed for winter. Mowed the lawn but that won't be the last time prolly, I wish tho!
Will drain all the hoses, cover the deck furniture etc. Just a bunch of boring stuff that needs to get done.
Decided to get my hubby's diesel truck fixed up instead of buying a new one. Might even get my old Subaru fixed up too. New and newer used stuff is scarce and more costly nowadays as is most everything. At least the sun came up this morning and we can see it!

When you say upgrade, do you mean getting another boat or continuing to do upgrades on your current boat?

We are working on getting a new house on our property on the rim canal in Okeechobee. Waiting for permits on a sea wall and dock. As soon as we signed a contract for the house build, they ordered trusses. They will arrive around the end of March (sigh)

A different boat, dear hubby likes the carver type boats the ones with the fly bridge. Two Tuesdays ago we were in the Sea Ray and he said we need to spend some of our retirement funds, why leave them for the dogs. (IE our yorkies)

He has always loved those boats, never really told me that when we bought the SeaRay. So I said are you sure? He said yep. So I asked the price range.........and started a search. We had to stick to a size ie length (40 to 45 feet) so we would not lose our slip. All longer boat slips were spoken for and I did not want bigger.

So I searched found 4 in MD, all except one pending sale, the non pending too long. Then found one in New Jersey, just listed, sent the broker a message the next day we left the SeaRay drove about 3.5 hours to Wildwood NJ looked at the boat made a offer and they accepted............... oh my! 24 hours after hubby opened mouth.

We just had the survey, it passed except for a few minor fixes. So in about two weeks we will be paying for the boat. We are using the funds from the sales of our two rentals! We drove the 4 hours up on Tuesday, survey at 8am Wed, drove the 4 hours home on Wed. Exhausted...........

It is 20 years old, the inspector said it was in way above average condition. Same owners for 17 years. So two owners in boats life.
We will be going to the ferry dock in Delaware and the boat owners captain will pick us up for the 8 hour trip to our slip in MD. We will learn in that time how to run it. It has dual engines and a side thruster. Way cheaper than younger Carvers!

So our SeaRay beautifully upgraded by me is up for sale.

We do long visit aboard trips, week at a time, I have missed being able to look out of windows, the SeaRay has the higher windows.
This is the boat out of the water for the short haul inspection. Testing for soundness, moisture etc. That is the inspector to the right

The inside, two queen beds, two bathrooms, nice big refrigerator, 3 AC units It looks brand new inside. We will need to drop the shoes when we walk in, brand new carpet!

This is a few shots of our SeaRay, know anybody that wants one we pay a finder fee! The curtain is over the window that the SeaRay has.

That is awesome, Addy. Our boat was a Carver with a flybridge. So much more visibility when cruising. We bought ours before we got married, and took it to Atlantic City for our honeymoon. 2 day trip one way. We would also go to NYC multiple times. Been all around Manhattan via Hudson, East, and Harlem River. We also took it to Connecticut via Long Island Sound, and went up the Thames River. Great times! Enjoy the new boat. The best tip I can give you is, place the steering wheel in the center position, and just use your engines. to navigate in the marina. You can literally spin in circles, with one engine in forward and one in reverse, and with practice, You can put your boat in any position with just the engines and shifting levers. like one in neutral and the other in forward or reverse, or vise versa. Take it real slow, and the bow thrusters will add fine tuning when backing in a slip.
