84 hot hot hot degrees. At least it is dry air. right now 25 degrees above normal.

The pond climbed one degree. I tossed in some anacharis into the pond for them to snack on if they wanted to.

Rained this morning, needed it. Like CE our weather is really starting to change fast. Haven't had to use the air condition for at least a month now. And one morning it was actually chilly enough I could have turned on the furnace and get the chill out of the air. Afternoons have been 70's but mornings are plunging to 40. My babies are doing well with the net over the pond. I'm only feeding them every two three days now, water is still 60, but with the nights getting colder, that could change very quickly. Hope all is well with everyone. And glad sissy is alright.

65 F at 1:30, and nice warm sun, so I went out and started tearing down the filters for winter. Got half-way through when the heavens opened up! Didn't even fall in the pond, yet I'm STILL soaked! :( Calling for colder weather starting overnight.

60's in the morning, 80's in the afternoon. It's been beautiful all last week and so far this week. Hoping it stays this way for trick or treaters and a downtown festival we have this weekend. It's my last trick or treat with my daughter at home  so I'm going to make the best of it.
And a big thank you to CE for updating us on Sissy. So glad she is ok.

Got my first "freeze alert" on my phone today. I guess they want us prepared for Friday night, as it's supposed to go below 32 that night. I stopped for a bite to eat and a drink with a girlfriend had not visited with for long time. Spent almost 3 hours together, catching up. LOL Didn't get all my decks plants brought in, but only have the large Spindle Palm to get inside yet, and it needed to drain since it was on a tray with water. Will get that done in the morning, I hope. No heat or fireplace going on here, just kick it on in the a.m. to heat up my bath towel when I shower in the morning. LOL I like a cooler than normal house and since my animals don't complain, and it's only me ... it works!

We keep our house in the mid to high 60's during the winter, if the sun is out, our windows get the house really warm. Sometimes we even have to open doors to cool it off.

Currently 37 temp in house is 69 no heat running.

Another beautiful day here. Low 60's this morning with a high around 82 today. Had some light rain last night to water my plants for me. I am looking forward to a wonderful weekend with my daughter.

44 right now.

Tomorrow is Halloween. Usually trick or treating is the closest Sunday in October to Halloween, however this year they made a change and decided to have it on Halloween. Well, long story short. last Sunday was in the 70s, and tomorrow we'll have windchills in the 20s. oops. all those poor kids will be freezing :cold: in their costumes. :vulcan::penguin::pigeon::panda:

Weatherman is calling for a rain/snow mix for tomorrow evening! All the trick-or-treaters will be dressed as Eskimos! :)
