My lilac decided it was spring, it is blooming, growing new leaves

Poured again yesterday all the way home from the health fair and into the night. Stopped and had a nice visit w/one of my hubby's sisters. At some point this morning it finally stopped raining and not doing so right now. In 5mins it will prolly be pouring again! I need to break down and buy waterproof everything so I can go walking and not get drenched.
Maybe buy a people sized hamster ball w/ a few air holes to walk the hood in
