My little fatPoppy says "The Sky is Falling!! Lighting like crazy and thunder is very loud right now.... Must hold Poppy and provide confort. Some bad Puppy Mommy left their doggy outside a couple doors down, poor thing is barking and must be scared!

This has been an unusually cool summer. I don't really mind though because I hate the heat and humidity.

I had my first and only lily bloom recently (partly my fault as I repotted them and didn't use any rocks/gravel to hold them in the potting media) I have to re do them but that won't be until later this summer or early fall.

I agree. I'm used to high 80°s-90°s and humidity this time of year, so high 70°s and low 80°s has been really nice. I'm worried that this trend will continue though and make Autumn a lot colder than it should be.

I am thinking the same thing. And I'm not ready for it yet. Normally I can't wait for fall.

And ours has been hot and dry with little rain.In 3 months we have only had rain 2 times and had 2 months of 90+ degree weather .Problem is the local weather comes out of Roanoke and it is always cooler there so I have to tune into NC weather to get accurate weather report I am closer to NC than Roanoke .

Beautiful day again in Canada, and my day off too!! Currently 75 degrees, and last night we had a good soaking rain. I kept the Poppy safe from the bad storm, and she fell asleep next to me last night, her little heart was beating fast...

78 and warm and sunny. Welcome to our world all you peeps talking about the nice lower temps now and a cooler fall. That's what it's like here every year but we also get bombarded w/ the tedious steady off/on rain all the way till next Summer.

Summer has finally arrived LOL. The weekend has been amazing. Carbon copy Friday, Saturday and today. 25* to 28* sunny and a little humid. Was at the Edenvale plane and car show yesterday. Perfect weather for that. Now if only we could get it to stay like this year round Let's start a petition
