54 at home, heading to 90, flowers blooming everywhere...

55 here this morning and the next big heat wave starting. We still haven't had any rain! Dropping the new liner into the middle pond section to fix the leak from bad construction 4 years ago!

two mornings of cool weather then heat again during the day and no rain .Got up early and stained the deck and watered my plants .Went to 3 flea markets yesterday in NC with my sister and got some great bargains .

What did you find there at the flea Market Sissy? Anything New and Exciting for the garden?
Today I took puppies to park early in morning, watered the yard, pulled some weeds, cleaned the little skimmer in bottom pond and relaxed and had a COFFEE! Off and running to get some very cool solar shimmering silky garden lanterns for above the pond, to hang off the strings.

got 2 more of those geese I have for 2 dollars each but these 2 are sitting .Got trim molding for my sister house 20 pieces for 10 dollars and they were all 15 ft long and got 2 galvanized tubs and 1 watering can for 5 dollars and 2 concrete planters for 5 dollars .Got outside material to make covers for the patio furniture 30 yards for 8 dollars and 20 yards of another color for 3 dollars .Stain for the deck 5 dollars a gallon can .My sister got 5 blueberry plants for 2 dollars each .Lots more plant stuff also .Brad nails for my air nailer for 1 dollar a plastic bin box , and 3 inch screws coated for outdoors for 7 dollars a box for the big boxes of them got 10 boxes of 3 inch and 5 boxes of 2inch and 2 boxes of 1 inch ( usually around 30 dollars for that size box ).Got lots of pieces and bits for building stuff .My truck was full and we stopped at subway for veggie subs .I can say we one this one .We both got brand new pots and pans 20 piece sets for 12 dollars ,for Paula Deen ones .We were to happy women .

Sounds like you got yourself a bunch of really good bargains Sissy! I worked around yard and spent my hard earned money on more solar hanging lanterns, but WOW are they every nice, and I got them at 20 percent off too!

I also went all out and got this window for the fence, cause I want the people walking from the corner sidewalk to get a sneak peak into my fishy fantasy wonderland. Worked hard yesterday and last night we had a good storm and everything is soaked today, so won't be needing to water today!

it is a Bear snout, and there is two eyes that hang with it, but one eye fell off and I have to attach it back on tree...

I love the Hot Summer nights... last night with my silk solar shimmering lanterns by my pond... I only had two small glass of wine cause that is all it takes and I was tired and off to bed!

Sunny and hot here. Been pruning off the dead junk from the Willow tree. Willow tree looks sick and hope it isn't dieing

today
