Hang on again tonight JB and hope all goes well for ya.

Beauty of Lake Michigan is that it often weakens the storms before they get here. Not always, though. A couple years ago we had two tornadoes right down the street (two separate storms), but biggest fear is a long power outage = flooded basement.

We are getting the hot humid weather also. Very humid today. Storms last night also. Some tornadoes in northern IA. Hubby says our weather radio went off last night with severe storm. I must of been out of it cause it didn't even wake me up! Told hubby he should of checked on me to see if I was breathing! lol Good thing it wasn't a tornado warning! Got 1.6 inches so not as much as some. More of the same for the next few days.

We have had continuous rain for two days, at times heavy down pours. Heck today I had snow !!!! It accumulated in spots, when I walked out in the yard it was slushy. We have a flood watch here, where I live I don't have to worry about it but where I work it is close to a river that has been running high even before it rained. Currently we have a high of 37F and only a high of 49 today with an 80 percent chance of rain :(. I'm ready for summer!!!!

Thanks Sissy, hope all go well with the Doctor todayy! Currently unhappy about the flooding, still raining too. Upstream the Old Man river basion has swollen to historic levels. Expecting another flood equal to the flood of 1995, worse than last year!!!

Very Funny Mitch! Ha Ha Ha! .....
This Morning was very productive, I climbed up the ladder and cleaned out the eves-troughs, swept up the big mess on the deck, washed several loads of laundry, just in case they turn of the power due to coming flood. After work today, I plan on cleaning and refreshing the water and filters in all the fish tanks in the house too, just in case. I don't vision water flooding my house, but who knows, they never know for sure what is really coming, it is only a forecast.
Two vegan sisters with much in common, fighting again over dumb issues. :rage: Life is too short to stress out, besides I got other things to worry about right now, like flood waters... :nailbiting:

I think our forecasts are following yours addy o_O Our heat index is supposed to reach 104 today with 93 real temp :( So much for the beautiful weather we had been having, although we could use a bit of rain it would just make it more humid :mad:

I am so so so annoyed with this cold weather. It is 56F/13C in June. June!

Today is overcast, yesterday was overcast. We've had 60F weather for a grand total of 12 days at most.

I don't think my biofilters have matured at all since the temperature has been so low. I might as well be living in Greenland or Iceland, just call me Jon Huffarsson.

I agree John this weather is like winter! It's cold right now sitting in shorts waiting for the sun. At least it's not raining. I think yesterday we got 5 mins of sunshine. Today they say it will arrive again later this afternoon and will be 70. HaH do you think I am believing that one? It's only in the mid 50's right now. Night temps I think are in the 40's.
