I got 6 of them since they are on clearance .I may get a couple of more .I have an old wooden ladder and thinking of screwing them to the steps of the ladder .I think it would look cute .They were a 1.99 each They have metal grommets at the top and come with screws .I just ran the ropes through the screw holes

Not really it stopped raining here now and sun is out so that means it is going to get steamy hot out .I have to go pick up a new pressure tank for my well .The new one I put in 2 years ago failed and was under warranty so they are replacing it free .It had a 7 year warranty .My flowers did get a nice watering any ways so that saved me lots of trouble .To much on my mind as hubby's heart doctor is worried now and sent him for blood tests yesterday ,he went to heart surgeon the day before. His blood pressure was over 197 and he has been eating healthy because i make him .No salt and lots of healthy fresh veggies .Then yesterday he scared me half to death as he just fell in the house for no reason .He did gain some of his weight back ,he was at 128 lbs for a 6 ft man and is now up to 147 lbs .Doctor thought at least that is good .We have the wrist blood pressure monitor at home that he uses before meals and after meals and it has been in the 150 range which scared me .

Sorry to hear this about your hubby sissy and hope they can get him somehow fixed up and back into a better pressure range. He is slim and trim for sure but still that sounds like so little for his height.

Thanks for the update, j.w., Was wondering how long they'd keep digging through that mess. Poor souls!

They found another body but won't know who it is for a couple days. Only one left to find now.

Another body recovered from Washington state mudslide

EVERETT, Wash. -- Officials say another body has been recovered from the debris of a landslide that killed dozens of people in Washington state.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that it's not clear if the body is that of either of the two people who remain missing after the March 22 slide.

The remains of 42 people have now been recovered. Authorities ended the active search for bodies late last month, but work continues to rebuild a highway through the area.

Search and rescue underway at deadly Wash. mudslide site

The slide occurred when a rain-soaked hillside above the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River gave way, obliterating a neighborhood in Oso, about an hour northeast of Seattle.

Still missing are 53-year-old Steven Hadaway, who had been installing a satellite TV dish at a home, and 44-year-old Kris Regelbrugge, whose husband also died.

According to CBS affiliate KIRO TV, the sheriff's office contacted Hadaway's brother on Thursday.

"It's just a waiting game from here," Jonathon Hadaway told KIRO, "It's the new normal. We know he's out there. So we got to find him and we got to bring him home."

Snohomish County Sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ierton told KIRO "identification of the deceased, as well as cause and manner of death" would be determined by the county medical examiner.

It's warmish, coolish, overcastish, maybe drizzling weather today. I went out in my shorts and t-shirt and it was coolish. Typical late Spring weather. Did I say late Spring?

Fish in the pond are eating good, have voracious appetites. I wonder where they're putting that food. Will be doing a pond vacuum soon. Still need to redo the filter. New feeders that I put in seem to be doing OK. Not coming to feed with the other fish but I see them swimming around.

I noticed I have water lily buds on the surface of both ponds the past few days, but knew I could not see blooms until weekend, as they bloom during the day. Was a short light shower before I took the pics, so they are all sprinkled with water. Glad for the light rain, as I had previously noticed (earlier this morning) LOTS of bird poop on the lily pads of the goldfish pond. Now, are the birds possibly sitting on the pads and getting drinks of water? I find it very hard to believe that they hit that many lily pads by just fly-over-poopings!
Didn't even notice the parrots feather in this pic until I downloaded it! I have 3 lilies blooming today. :)
