Nice at 70 now and tomorrow in the 80's and Thursday too..................

Only in the upper 60's here today, windy, cloudy. Rain and t-storms predicted, but not much happened. The way these storms are, the sky is sunny one minute, then black clouds and wind howling and rain pouring the next. These pics are last night. Got the electric line run in the trench, while sun was going down in front of the St. Francis statue. Then at dusk, it turned nasty really fast, black cloud over my house. Wish I should have done a panorama pic 360 degrees, because the black was above, with light below all the way around! Bad second pic, had camera on wrong setting (night, and it was exposed too long), but you can see what I mean about the black clouds.

sun is out here and got good news on my heat pump replacement from my insurance company they are going to pay for it minus my deductable of 500 dollars .Plus i get a 500 dollar rebate from Danville utilities and 400 dollars from the installer so it is all covered .The insurance company just needs pics of the old unit .Just saved 8 thousand dollars

Not too bad today yet .... But wait for it, rain is coming, days and days of rain, just in time for my only weekend off, was planning to build new fence, we shall see what the weather actually looks like this weekend when it gets here, maybe forcast is wrong!

It was 59 today but cool breeze and cloudy made it feel much cooler. Would be a nice night for a fire in the pit.

Chilly here, only got to 55, and very windy, felt more like 40. Brrrr ... going down to 40 tonight, but then upward trend. I saw 80 for next Tuesday, so heading up some each day. Woohoo! Gotta get past cool night tonight, then should be good again. Been dreary and cloudy last couple of days. I'm ready for more sunshine again.

Rain today, snow coming tonight.
Spotted first mosquitoes and bumblebees of the season yesterday.
I've also redirected the roof down spout into the pond (we have a metal roof). We have precipitation forecast for the next week.

Hey T'Mann, have you planted any elephant ear bulbs out yet this year? My attempt at starting them inside didn't produce anything, so going to put them in the bogs once it warms up more this weekend. Just wondering how your weather in KY has been, if it has been warm enough yet.

I just started one a few days ago, it has been cool here as well. I am going to put out some more in the bogs and creeks this weekend.

We got so much rain it has added to water quality in my pond .Low ph and had to raise that .I can see starting over is a lot of work ,cold nights 80 degree days have not helped either .I can not get ahead of the work here .Grass needed mowing again and did not finish yesterday .I had to go grocery shopping and then trying to handle this heat pump stuff and hubby sleeps until 12 or 1 pm and can't get much done then .I wish he would go to bed earlier at night so he can get up earlier ,but meds. he takes at night keep him from trying to sleep .He has to take them at 10 pm and then he can't get to sleep because of them .

It must be hard on him sissy and you too. Medical issues can get in the way of what we would like our lives to be. We somehow manage to work around the issues and hopefully still be able to enjoy our time on earth. Hope he can get his meds fixed somehow by the doc's so he doesn't have to miss half the day. Seems like they could just shift his schedule of pills ahead but I'm no doc.

We still have sun here but temps are dropping from our nice hot stuff we had in the last 2 days. I don't care I'll take any kind of sunshine or even just dry weather w/ clouds instead of the wet stuff. Moss is starting to grow on peoples noses around here
