yep sissy that is why we left this am, will spend night somewhere be home early am, like 7. traffic to bad around DC to try and get home tonight

yeh addy and they have construction going on there .My brother went up and said he got caught up in it .He had no clue what they were doing except standing around .But isn't that normal for the outer loop

Take your time addy and watch out for nuts on the roads. Looks sunny at your place today w/ a slight breeze moving the bird feeders and only a little ice left on your pond

hot here in North Carolina trees budding and blooming, daffodils blooming, spring is here. sissy we never drive through VA and DC loop during rush hours. IE 2 to 7pm it is horrible. thanks Jw have not checked today, I will get the pump running soon, even though temps dropping next week again

Overcast John? Wowser, we have bright sunshine up north here. My fish are being seen moving around more and more each day. Going to start my tomato seeds and some other veggie seeds and then when they pop up I will transfer to the greenhouse

Temp is going down now and says it will get down to 29f here tonight. Means I gotta roll in the non-hardy plants again.
Tomorrow will be nice and sunny again and think Thursday also but back to rain on Friday. Got my toms and other veggie seeds planted today in containers. Cleaned out some dead stuff on plants and spoofed up the beds a bit w/ a rake. Feel like I accomplished something..............oh and forgot the best news of ever...............I finally gave birth to Stoney the kidney stone...................captured it and it was not tiny like they said it would be either! Those things look like lava rocks only more jaggedy................no wonder they hurt so much! I had that thing buggin me for about 6 mos or more.

yep trees a budding here also and no flowers yet they just broke through the ground here.81 degrees today and finished some more and then took a nap on the swing on the front porch with the doggies and the got in the whirlpool tub of peroxide and baking soda to relieve all the soreness and clean the clay off .Also helped my poor raw hands

It was 75 today and sunny, tomorrow night going to be down to 15 and snow..

We are expecting a dusting of snow tonight. It always worries me when they forcast a "dusting" usually turns out to be several inches.
Oh well I don't mind it much because we will be back up in the 50's on starting Thursday so whatever we get should melt fast.

Pond is totally clear of ice now. Water is pretty murkey. Need to get pump in and running very soon. Should do a water change as well.
Scooped some more leaves and gunk out yesterday. Need to test the water. I also need to order a nitrate test as I don't have that one.
Lots of snow has melted this past week. Mostly shaded areas and where snow has drifted still have snow. Creeks are getting full.

58 F yesterday. 30 now, and snowing. Supposed to get 6" before it ends! Sure hope this is Old Man Winter's last kick at the can.
