Here's a few pictures of where I live. Thought JW and some others would enjoy. We were at the beach today the boys spent some time exploring a neat little tidal pool of sorts, they found some crabs and tiny fish to watch. Hope you enjoy.

This will be the warmest day of the year, trouble is the snow is melting so fast that the back yard is a mud bath and the neighbor's back yard right next door is flooding.

I'm having the same problem. The last two days the snow was melting so fast that we are getting some water down in the basement . It also rained for awhile which didn't help.

That is a pretty beach Priscilla. Boy it looks so warm!
We hit 47 today, hazy clouds. Still lots of melting. Close to 60 tomorrow and above freezing the rest of the week. Pond should be all thawed out by the end of the week. Not sure when I should start things up. Think I should wait a couple more weeks. ??? Weather could still turn cold again around here.

I was born here. Yup, this is our home. My hubby 'thinks' we may move to the US, but I don't know.

The beach was nice. We waited until about 4:30 to go. Hubby spent the whole day working on the waterfall - no visible progress (none). What did he do all day???? He just goes around collecting rocks and washing them off admiring them ..... he's got a real rock problem. And he won't use certain rocks, he likes to call them 'showcase' rocks - meaning they have to be in a spot front and center. He's finally settled on three large rocks for the waterfall. I do love them. The largest is a flatish rock, seriously weighs about 300 pounds. But its got some great holes for water to trickle through. Will be sure to post pictures if he ever gets it done.

CE, my backyard has mud in the same areas every spring, slowly over the course of time, I am putting cement pavers down and or cobbling those walkways. It has helped a great deal with "muddy paws", but their is still some areas that I need to improve on this summer.

Sissy, don't over do it, you could end up hurting yourself, Rome was not buildt in one day. Hot coffee ready for you at my house! :) and if you every come this way, I will make you fresh blueberry pancakes with real wild Canadian blueberries and real Maple Syrup and whipped cream! :)
