they all lie 1 to 3 inches and we have 9 inches of snow and it is snow and sleet now at 10:30 am

Ahhh, just looking out on the pond, two weeks from Spring......

I need to get more pond done so I can get fish back in .It says tomorrow will be 60 degrees and the rest of the week mid to high 60's .Thinking of going out to shovel some of the top layer of snow into the pond so I have some more water in it .

It's above freezing here now and supposed to remain there for the next week.

Weather is decent for once! 45 degrees. A little cool with cloud cover and a light breeze, but snow is slowly melting. I did some shoveling around the pond to help melt a path.

Looks like weather will be finally a little better now. high temps in the 30s for the next week! 30's have never felt so much like spring before.

almost time to start the home projects to maintain the house .Draining sludge from bottom of hot water heater .Back flushing the whole house filter and cleaning windows and staining the decks .Gosh I will need a vacation soon

Sissy, so sorry to hear of all the sadness you have faced.

JW, here are some of my pond plants. I will post some beach pictures tomorrow. Today I popped out to the pond at 2:30pm, couldn't even stand out there, the sun was brutal. Its so bizarre that everyone's weather is so cold, and we didn't have a winter this year.

Lol! Yeah, our winter is like 68degrees, that's serious sweater weather!

Was hoping to get the kids to bed and do a fire tonight, but I think its too warm out for a fire. Maybe able to convince hubby to sit by the pond and listen to the waterfall. We don't have lights in or around the pond yet.

Very pretty flowers you have there Priscilla. Must be something like the flowers they have in Hawaii of which we just took our first trip to a couple yrs ago and I took pictures like crazy of all the plants, flowers and trees. So nice to hear you like it hear w/ all of us pond nuts

Was very nice here today w/no rain finally and lots of sunshine. Was out walking and came home and raked over mole hills. Gosh its still 55F now. Too bad the rain is coming back tomorrow AGAIN
