49 here - and dry - we got about 1.5 inches of rain over the past couple days and with the ice that melted from trees the pond has filled up a little again, so perhaps i wont be trying to fill-er-up this weekend :)
i'll wait til its a lttle warmer and the fish are not trying to de-ice themselves.
its expected to be up to 60 something today - with a 50% chance of rain again at the weekend - but dry otherwise and seemingly warmer days with only a few cooler nights in the next week or so.
i do like wunderground - they have the most accurate weather forecast for us here from what i can tell, and certainly the most accurate extended forecasts also.
i tried to use weather.com the other day and i had to LOOK for where the weather forecast was!
sometimes its just better if its simple!

Awe Sissy, it must have been hard to lose both parents in one day! Mind if I ask what happened? I cannot imagine losing my mother, going to take her shopping today, she is getting silly now in her older age, and I never had no kids. I tell everybody she is my "mini me", a short but older version of me, then I tell everybody I am going to "clone her" and raise my mother.... Come on little "Natilla", time to go to school!! I really would if I could, then I could have her always.... now I am going to cry.

Snowing yet again... JW huffed and Puffed and blew her wet soggy clouds this way and now just look at what I have!! Got to shovel the sidewalk yet again!!! :rage:

At least the top ponds are defrosting nicely! And just you people wait!!! Spring is just around the corner now and coming here for sure this weekend, supposed to get to like plus 11 Celsius {55 Fahrenheit} this weekend SO therE!!! :troll:

That is just awefull Sissy, I think you are very strong to have risen above it all and carry on.
Justice sometimes rides a "slow horse", and they will meet their Maker, and Justice will be served in the end!
May God bless you my dear sweet Sissy.

They never got caught them and rural PA does not care about outsiders there .My parents just retired and were moving there and it was only there second night in there new home .Lost my brother back in 2010 and then my hubbies mom and dad both passed one in 2005 and 1 in 2006 .Just seems things go wrong they go wrong big time .

Sissy: As said above, in the end, people will face what they have done in their lives and payment is not optional.
Pls accept our condolences; my wife and i both know about sudden death in our families... its not easy and something we hope that nobody should endure.
:(

Too much grief thrown your way sissy. Sorry for all your losses. I guess we gain strength from these horrible happenings but I think I would rather be weak than go through all of what you went through. Hope life is happy for you and your family from now on.

I am still shoveling the walks, been shoveling for at least a hour, the back by the pond and off the deck, three sets of steps, front yard and walk way... is there no end to the snow!! Pond looks good, fish are not complaining. Warmer temps coming this weekend and then it will be a big mess of muck!

fresh snow equals fresh water in pond!!
