Its been dark and cloudy all day, and were in a severe thunderstorm watch. It was supposed to get to plus 30 c or 84 F but all were up to right now is 70 F cause of all the dark clouds hanging over all day. Looked like evening time all day! Making juicy fat burgers and salad for my mom today. Got rid of lots of tree branches by burning the evidence all day today. Now that I hacked and slashed branches all day, it looks like some cut a hole and let more sky shine in! Been very busy last few days with all the tree hacking. Hubby sat nice by pond puffing away on his home made tobacco from last year.

Nice here now but lots of puffy white clouds hiding the sunshine. Been out all day weeding and trying to sneak a peek at the new shubbies. Just see a nose now and then under a hiding spot.

Super hot, mid 90's, my grass sounds like lettuce when you walk on it. Wife won't let me put a single drop of fresh water into the pond due to fear over draining our well.

Buckry, when's the last time you had rain? Is there no other water for the pond other than well water? Sure hope you get rain soon! That would drive me nuts, no water for pond, I'd give up showers and baths and just sponge clean instead! I'd wear my clothing longer and wash less. :-O

Darn fish are chasing again! We are hot, next few days are going to be very nice, then back up into the 90's. All this great rain is missing this house, north of us, south of us, east of us, west of us...........sigh

We actually had rain last week but not much, and now it been around 102 for the last two or three days and the forcast is hot, hotter, and completely miserable with temps between 102 and 105 for the next week straight and probably longer...ugh.

We now wait til around 8:30pm to go enjoy the pond and cook outside on the grill to avoid heating up the house.

I've been in WI for the last 4 days, and the weather here has been wonderful, only mid-80's for highest, and beautifully cool at night. However, my sister and BIL live in the woods, and the mosquitos are horrendous, something that I've not been bothered with at home at all ... yet! Not anxious to return home to 90's, but anxious to get back to my fish and dogs and puppies. :) Soooo glad I have multiple wells on my property, and high water table, so have never run out of water, except when filled my koi pond, then it was back up the next day. Lucky me ....

Wow, were having a heat wave today!! Temp almost up to 80! That's hot for us this year! Feels good to have some heat finally! Would suck to live down there, in the oven, feel bad for you guys who need water bad, what would happen if your well went dry? Would you be able to get water piped in?
