This morning, when I was on here, it was "read only" because of the updates going on, so I knew because of that. I don't read all the posts on here, or even a portion of them, I would never keep up! I'm having a hard time figuring out who has posted on the threads I follow. Is that called the "alerts" now? And, they are not highlighted, so I have no idea if I have checked it or now. Hope they are still working on it. I cannot imagine the work that goes into changing a website like this one. I sure would not want the job.

I'm okay everyone. No chest pain at all now. I slept all afternoon. Just speculating, when I destroyed my left shoulder the muscles, tendons and nerves were torn apart. During the artifical shoulder implant operation all of those torn muscles, tendons and nerves were reattached as best could be done. The theory is that my chest and neck pain is from nerve damage. Since I had no other symptoms this afternoon Cathy called my orthopedic surgeon to ask if such pain is possible. He said it absolutely is. All of this is not meant to say we should not be concerned about my heart. Thankfully my heart has always been very healthy. The upcoming ultrasound tests should give the needed information.

You folks are so kind, so sweet. I am very sorry for worrying you. In February I have my earlier mentioned Ultrasounds and Optomologist appointments. In March there is my Neorophyscological Congitive test. We WILL persevere. Your caring makes this a true community.

Please accept our most sincere thanks.
Louis & Cathy

41F/5C, a dreary day like the usual January Seattle day. A little melancholy. Not sure if because talking with one of my nephews last night. He says he's probably gonna move down to Irvine, CA for good eventually. He's a WA native but he says he likes it down there more, the weather and everything.

I've visited the LA area many times and I think it was nice in the 50s, but it's so different now. Despite the wet and depressing weather here (that's our trademark!), it's still very green here and not too overcrowded yet. It's a bit of a cultural backwater but I don't think Irvine would be much better!

Och, J.W, give me more reasons why my nephew shouldn't move to LA!

Too much smog, bad water, heat gets old day after day, no green, too crowded, giant killer trucks side by side riding your butt on freeways, lots of crime and the state is going bankrupt..............I bet I could think of many more but those just came off the top of my head

The last time I was in LA when you drove in, the sky was gray, a gray layer, then your eyes start burning, throat burns. I would never live there.
