Ryan, the key is the "efficient furnace". I shut my heat down to 60 during the day when I'm gone, and in 30 minutes it goes up to 65 when I get home. Then seems to only turn on about every 20-30 minutes, even in this cold.
Mrs. Clem, I sure hope all is well with your pond. I think the temps are bouncing around for everyone, I agree, Rebel, never remember it doing soooo much up and down and over and over again. I have snow from the early arctic blast we got first week of Jan. We had 50's since then, several days of it, and a full day of rain, but all it did to that huge area that was about 3' deep of a snow drift was pack it down. I can walk on top of that whole area, it's about 30' x 40', and about a foot deep. That's not much to many of you northerners, but then we midwesterners are getting you northerner's weather, too! I see Colleen is at 37, and I'm at something like 7 right now, after a whopping high of 10. That is NOT fair! LOL Oh well, we will share our warmth with you, as long as you give it back, my Canadian friends.
Colleen, I look for sun dogs every morning when it's so cold, and saw another set this morning. Sun was really bright, so it was not as vibrant as the one I took the pic of, but it was there, double, too!
