What is your weather like ... today

At 40F now and raining,why wouldn't it be? Oh well it's nice and warm in my computer room. I went out on the back deck during a dry spell this morning and jumped rope for 50 times and then another 50 times, then went back inside :claphands:

We dropped from 50F to 10F in 3 hours!
- And it's now snowing. Wind chills are at -4F so far.
I guess this is what the flash freeze warning was talking about.

Mitch, thanks a bunch for sending me the "Flash Freeze" and blowing snow and cold wind!! Weather channel warned us all day, but who ever heard of a FLASH FREEZE before!

must go now down to the dungeon basement and plug the pond heater back in cause it is going down to -17C or 1F tonight.

Burrrrrrrrrrrrrr you Northerner's are tough! I don't mind the cold, but only so cold like down to zero. We tend to drop only to the teens, sometimes lower. Days bounce between high 20's to 40's and sometimes even higher. Like 55 today, rain tomorrow, snow coming next week and back down into the 30's.

We are having an unusually warm day today high close to 50F. Cold front coming tomorrow. Highs on Monday in single digits. Unplugged my pond heater yesterday but back on it goes tomorrow. Lately I have it plugged in most days as we have not had too many warmer days and my aerator is pretty wimpy.

Yesterday late in the evening, the temperature dropped back to our winter normals, and now the ponds froze right back up after beautiful Chinook weather all Christmas. Today by the ponds.... never went outside to take these pictures, just stuck my head out the window!

Grey w/ no rain and 45F. Hubby off for a bike ride again and me sitting here telling myself to get off my butt and walk or trim dead stuff off plants.......................do something anyways!

It got up to 54 here today, but I had a full day of visiting! First had friend over with her 1 year old daughter. What fun! She was a smiley baby the whole time, just started walking, and what fun to watch her. VERY well behaved baby. When she is told "no", she looks right at you, may slowly try to do it anyhow, and look for the second "no", then moves on to something else. She saw aquarium for first time, told her "fish". Hour later, she was across the room, looking the other way, and her mom said, "Where is the fish?" She whipped right around and pointed right at the tank. What a smart little tyke! Then went to former neighbor's house, and had lunch and an afternoon of playing with her 1 year old granddaughter. Another all smiles little girl. I was in heaven all day. It would have been a beautiful day to be outside, but I will trade that for time with babies just about any time. :blueflower:
Tomorrow's high will be a midnight tonight, dropping temps down to 10 tomorrow night. Yuck yuck yuck ....

Clear fresh air. Perfect temperture. Such a splendid day. Spent it with my son taking care of family matters that required little of our attention but of hours waiting. Quiet time with a loved one can be so fulfilling.
