I woke up to probably the largest flakes of snow I ever remember seeing. It was really "pouring" down! Ended up with about 4-5" I would guess. Then, once it quit snowing, the snow quickly started packing and compressing, making it look like far less! I got some pics during and right after the snow pretty much had quit. Loved being outside! Had to even shovel a walkway to get my wheelbarrow from the barn loaded with hay to the outside hay feeder, cause the snow was wet and hard to push it through. Horses were anxious for their hay, and went to romping around.
Snow pics around my house:
This "avalanche" ready to happen was right above where I go into the pasture with the hay. Glad I remember to look up before walking under it. Large sections of snow fell at a time.
The bubbler is still working well under the snow, and the stream is open as well, under the snow.
Then I came inside to make cookies. Chocolate kiss peanut butter cookies, and 18 dozen cut out cookies. Neighbor kids are coming over tomorrow to help me decorate them! I frost them, and they decorate. We have great fun.
After done with cookies, it was time to do chores, and before I came back inside, decided to build a snowman.
