I hate talking while recording, will be an effort for me lol.

15 here, cold blast coming tomorrow hitting warm wet, we might get another snow dump. Went from a trace of snow to prediction of 2-4 which last time ended up being 9

We are defrosting! Today it will hit 40 with cold rain. Next week we'll have highs in the 50s.

Loved your conversation about voices. I have a very subtle southern accent and only on a few words. As a good friend of mine from the UK puts it, I sound like a American sitcom character. My lack of an accent stands out in my hometown. When I'm down in New Orleans, I get asked where I'm from all the time as I don't have the typical New Orleans yat accent (sounds a lot like the Boston accent.)

Our temps have warmed up enough now that 3/4 of my pond is open. This morning the bottom of pond temp was 38.3. :beerchug: Currently 36F outside and theres a 60 percent chance of snow today. First two pictures were taken Dec. 12 and the next two were taken this morning.

Currently the temperature is 9 Fahrenheit or -13 Celsius, Should warm up today to 29 Fahrenheit (-2 Celsius), and tomorrow looks to be above Freezing!!! Must be that Chinook coming my way Mitch!!

The bad Puppies have be running in and out all day, so they must be able to smell the warm wind coming! Last night we drove to Brooks, about an hour and 15 minute drive, to attend my hubbies Christmas Party, held now at the Bowling Ally. It was good fun and happy hubby beat out everyone on our lane, after I kissed his bowling ball for good luck, he hit a "strike"!! :)

I woke up to probably the largest flakes of snow I ever remember seeing. It was really "pouring" down! Ended up with about 4-5" I would guess. Then, once it quit snowing, the snow quickly started packing and compressing, making it look like far less! I got some pics during and right after the snow pretty much had quit. Loved being outside! Had to even shovel a walkway to get my wheelbarrow from the barn loaded with hay to the outside hay feeder, cause the snow was wet and hard to push it through. Horses were anxious for their hay, and went to romping around.

This "avalanche" ready to happen was right above where I go into the pasture with the hay. Glad I remember to look up before walking under it. Large sections of snow fell at a time.

The bubbler is still working well under the snow, and the stream is open as well, under the snow.Bubbler working well under snow.JPGStream is open under the snow.JPG
Then I came inside to make cookies. Chocolate kiss peanut butter cookies, and 18 dozen cut out cookies. Neighbor kids are coming over tomorrow to help me decorate them! I frost them, and they decorate. We have great fun.

After done with cookies, it was time to do chores, and before I came back inside, decided to build a snowman.
