What is your weather like ... today

I have to add this I had a girlfriend that almost died from vitamin overdose .She was taking 20 something vitamins a day ,but that is only what she admitted too .I think she was taking more than that .She was 37 years old at the time and I remember doctor told hubby he needed an idea of all the things she was taking .We actually counted over 30 different kinds ,but we could not say she was taking them all .After the scare she only took the vitamins and meds her doctor prescribed .But they effected her liver ,kidneys and stomach .Now she is 59 and has all kinds of health problems from it .Her hubby told me she has problems with her eyesight and hearing and her balance .Funny thing is her parents are still alive and healthy as horses and are very active .

The rain is now converting to snow, floating around out there, so rain, then ice rain, now snow

I am looking right now at your web cams and seeing the snow falling in the dark. They say we might get snow on Monday. Hey if we do addy we can have a snowball fight and anyone else who wants to join in. I'm looking at your fish cam too and the fish are just hanging there like white ghosts :biggrin:

lol in my honies boxers, when she has to pee she has to pee, cold, rain and snow coming down. One nice thing, when the weather is yucky she sure does her business really fast. The security light does not stay on long. I carry a flashlight for her meandering trips.

Well, temps here were around 40 today, cloudy all day. Then the winds started up this afternoon, and felt much colder. They said down to 20 or below tonight, but 3-13 for wind chill. I just went outside (Denali needed to pee), and OMG, winds have really picked up, and I am sure my ponds would have been solid ice by tomorrow, even with the water fountain, waterfall, stream and bogs running, so I plugged in the air and water bubblers on each pond. That should at least help keep the ice from forming in front of the skimmers, we shall see. First real test of if the water lines to the Skippy will freeze in this wind and freeze tonight. If they do, then I'll unplug them for the winter and wait it out. I prefer to leave it all running as long as possible, though.

It got warmer here ,I just took the dogs out and looked at the thermometer and it is 42 out and it is 10 pm .

gosh pouring rain but temp at 11:30 is now 44 degrees out .Pond is full and I mean full

We went from 32 during the day with ice forming to 38 over night, 2 inches of rain now has fallen, that would have been 20 inches of snow if it had stayed cold. The wet storm pushed in warm wet weather. We might get some flurries later but most likely only rain. My 10 new trees are getting nicely watered and the pond is getting a good water exchange.

Surprise lovely sunshine again and Thanksgiving will be bright and beautiful also. Then the rains come on Friday and stay all weekend and then there is a slight possibility of the white stuff :fingersx:

Supposed to be back up to 50's by sunday here .It was really really windy here this morning dogs were growling and barking because they could hear it hit the chimney in the living room and moved the chairs on the front porch too .
