Wonderful news sissy! So happy to hear things are looking much better for your dear hubby. Hoping if the aspirin and the other drug were the problem then this will be an easy fix for him.
Moen works w/ you pretty well but last time we had a problem w/ our faucet they sent us a cheaper version of the one we had and we hate it. They said they wouldn't replace it again. What's up w/ that? As it is supposed to be a lifetime guarantee. I bet if we called them back we'd get someone who would replace it tho.

Oh Sissy, I was so scared for your hubby, and we never heard from you for a while and I was really getting worried. Thank goodness he is out of hospital and back in your good care now. I hear of so many doctor/[pharmacy problems and wrong medication, that it is best to trust your instincts as you know your hubby better than anyone else. I am so happy you are back posting, you make this place better and I would miss you if you were gone!

Weather here right now is almost 60 degrees!! Good time to play outside with my scary dolls an stuff.... It gets me outside having fun an puts some excitment into fall!

Soooo good to hear from you again, Sissy! Prayers do get answered! And, I agree with Lou, good to hear you working on things again, means life is getting back to normal for you at home.
What I hate about life-time warranties on kitchen or bath faucets is they are sometimes life time for leaking. All that means is they will send you the rubber gasket, but you have to replace it yourself. I hope Moen is better and actually replaces the faucet, but I'm wondering if that's why they sent cheaper version, and won't replace again. If it for full replacement, then go for it and don't back down until they replace it.

Sissy, I replaced my mom's Moen kitchen faucet a few weeks ago. It failed after 12 years.
I bought a new faucet, replaced it, returned it with no questions asked. I just said I was returning it for warranty. They didn't even look inside the box. I could have returned a box of rocks!
(not that I ever would)
You shouldn't have any problems.

They sent the new valve stem free of course and replaced it and so far so good .Thank you for the welcome backs and hubby goes back to heart surgeon this week and I made copies of the labcorp records just now to take with us .I talked to my lawyer friend back in NJ and he thinks I should take them to court to at least teach them ,next time do your job ,that is what you are paid for .Plus they could have killed my hubby if I had not used my instinct again .Ambulance just to take hubby down to Duke Hospital was almost 4 thousand dollars .ALS workers on the ambulance have to be paid and so does the ambulance time .I understand that since several of my nephews work for rescue squads and life saving crews .

The letter from moen was nice and said if this does not work they will replace the faucet and since faucets are not cheap I am happy with that .They did state that that they don't make this faucet anymore and have replace it with a better version and sent me a pic of the new one and good gosh over 380 dollars for the new one ,but they said I would get it free.I thought the ones I bought for this house were expensive and I bought them at discount .It's a faucet but now they call it sink jewelry ,what next ,as long as water comes out it is OK with me and in my case stops when I turn it off .

Hmmmmmmm, they sure did not send us a better one than we had. Wonder what's up w/ that? The nozzle thingy won't even sit in the hole that it is supposed to sit in. It just wobbles around loose. I think we will put the old one back in as we were given new parts for it too and the old one was much nicer. Glad you had good results w/ them sissy and we always had previously to this episode.

I had moen in my other house for 10 years and never had a problem but then these days they do not want things to last .I read the papers I kept with mine and registered it when I bought it and it says on the paper work that it has a 10 year warrantee on some parts and 25 on others .I found the receipt also with but geeze I did not realize how much I had paid for the thing .I thought I had paid less than 300 dollars ,but guess not .It came with one of those instant hot water dispensers to make tea or soup and stuff so guess that is the reason it costs more .Instant hot water still works great and is the best thing ever ,no waiting for water to boil .I do have to sometimes warn people that the soap dispenser is on the other side of the sink .I mean it does say hot .
