What is your weather like ... today

Have had several days of wonderful sunshine. Today is in the high 60's, with warm winds. Almost feels like the Santana winds in Southern California. Lovin' it!

We've had sun also but the temps have dropped. Only 52F now and last night was cold...........maybe in the high 30's or low 40's!
Warming up tho by this weekend, maybe

41 today, frogs quit peeping, croaking, floating, day temp 70. But sounds like temps going back up 83 on sunday with a low of 55

Temps here in the morning about 45 and day temps going back up to 76 and supposed to get back to 80's by this week end .This weather is good as it produces a lot of dew on the grass and flowers to keep them growing great .I planted a lot of grass seed and it is really growing fast .I mowed on the 3rd and then again on tuesday and looks like it will need mowed again .I keep my blade height on 4 and 5 because of all the new grass coming up .I just hope our summer is not really dry as I don't want to have to start again next spring doing this .I have been thinking of selling Splendors Gate ,hate the thought of doing that but the amount of work involved with upkeep is getting to me .My son made a comment the other day ,well it has been almost 10 years you know and every 10 years you sold our other houses ,so whats new .Well I guess thats true .I'm also not getting any younger .

We had frost last night and woke up to a cold but sunny morning. Now is 62F and tomorrow better. Might hit 80F on Sunday............wahooooooooooooooo!!!

Sissy is Splendors Gate what you call your property and you are thinking of selling and moving? Where would you go? We too would like to down size but the market isn't right yet. We've been here for almost 12yrs.

Yep it is called by 2 names Splendors Gate and 2 SONS I only paid 89 thousand when it was built and then septic and well and then driveway .Oh forgot had the basement plumbed for 2 bathrooms and laundry and kitchen,figure before they poured the slab do it just in case needed it in the future ,So the house total is 4880 sq.ft if the basement is finished out and then you also have the walk up attic if someone wanted to add up there.I was thinking of maybe going out to Pittsville or Gretna where the other house is .

Well you'd make money on it selling it now even w/ the bad economy cuz you paid so little for it and upgraded so much. You gonna build a new pond over at the new place for the koi? Remember if you do...............make it bigger,lol!

I would move the fish to Mike and Tesia's house and there pond .I only have a love for this house because I designed every part of it .It did cost me a lot of the years to finish it off and figure I spent at least another 30 thousand .The house is built using 2x 6 stud walls a triple pane windows and a double steel frame under it .So down here they call that overbuilt and people are not willing to pay that price ,they seem to like smaller homes here

Looks like nice weather for the next 5 days, 74 today and then 80 Sunday. Also looks like lows at night will be in the 40's instead of the 30's. Yippee

I was jealous, as they were saying rain for here tomorrow, but just looked and forecast has changed ...no more rain in the forecast, sunny skies, and mid-70's! Can't beat that! Happy Mother's Day for all of you moms out there!!!

Yep was out all day today doing things around the pond. Made the pump a house so it does not suck up the little fish in the pond anymore. Did a long drawn out partial water change for most of the day. Cleaned and replaced the batting in the fines pot. Straightened the plants up a bit. Unclogged fountain pumps etc. etc. etc. til my bones were weary! Took 2 Ibuprofen,drank some lemonade and called it good! Hot and sunny tomorrow and going on a bicycle ride for the day!

Lovely sunny morning. Put the washing out on the line to dry and didn't use the tumble drier for the first time this year!

Just awesome here today! 52 degrees wake up and suppose to get to mid 70s today. Shame i am at work:-(
