Too bad we can't go backwards in time for a visit. Ahhhhhhhhhhh yes life was simpler way back when. Why do we have to make everything so complicated. Who would ever have thought that the day would come when one would ever lose a phone? I mean they used to be tied down to our homes w/ that cord and they were hard as rocks and darn heavy! Now see what we've gone and done. I find them laying along the roadside all the time.....................oh me oh my what is coming our way next

Currently at 79 degrees, windy at 17 MPH sky is clouding over and possible thunderstorm may be brewing! Poppy is resting confortably and showing no early warning signs of any possible thunder yet.....

Sissy I choose a laptop cause I don't have any room in this small house to set up a computer space, fish tanks everywhere... house has only two small bedrooms. Speaking of fish tanks, there is one less now, cause one of the cheap 10 gallon fish tanks that had guppies and pladys, sprung a leak in the middle of the night! No crack, just started leaking at the seal. It woke me up in the middle of the night last night, the dripping of water must have woke me, so I got up and drained that tank and the fish are in a bucket right now, going to clean out this other tank that is overgrown with duck weed and hornwort, and put them in there today. (Had to work this morning)

Speaking of work, we have new and exciting bagels made fresh in the bakery! The cheese bagels are to DIE FOR! Now they call to me, fresh from the oven at work.... hope I don't have to bag them cause that I might drool like Bear at the smell! Ha ha ha. :)

I brought home a bag of six fresh baked cheese bagels, but the other neighbor girl from the other side of the street, that comes over all the time to see my pond, came tonight and I gave her the last three cheese bagels. She was having a "sleep over" tonight, with her two other girlfriends, so they came to see the pond, my hubby gave the girls a pop and a big bag of chips, they seemed very happy to have the junk food, and then they ran home to continue their girly party. The tall girl in the middle kneeling by the pond, is the one that lives with her old grandma, she calls her "mom" and they live in a very very small one bedroom house at the end of the block. She hangs out with me at any chance see sees me, she seems very "attached" to me, and she is only 14! I gave her some pond stuff and maybe next week I will go over and help her with her little pond, she keeps asking me but I have been so busy working but will make it a point to go see her and help her soon....

Help mouth is burning, just ate a large chunk of habanero hot pepper, mouth on fire, must blow my nose....

You are a good influence on the girls Colleen showing them your pond and being so nice to them. Hope you can help her w/ her little pond and get her interested in something fun. She will remember you and your hubby forever for your kindness
