Yep sissy those are pallets and they are 10, 12 and one is 14 ft long! He has it all level w/ shims and has put extra support in areas where needed. It will do it's job for wood storage. He can get all the pallets he wants for free at his old place of employment.

addy is that pretty blooming like crazy plant some kind of Phlox? Can't believe how you are putting off winter there!

Colleen nothing wrong w/ a nice long nap for a hardworking woman

Jw it is a http://www.ppandl.net/index.cfm/id/47/plant_id/379, poem lilac wallflower, erysimum. Says only good down to zone 8, but sold as a perennial here, zone 6b-7.
Supposed to bloom Feb-june. It has been blooming all summer up to today and still going strong.

OH a Wallflower. I had one once but it didn't make it through the winter here. Had pretty flowers but sure was not big and huge like yours is!

That's great Addy, you still have a pretty flowering plant growing, enjoy it while it lasts! Maybe you will get lucky and have very little winter. I have some plants that are zone 5 and 6 that come back when left to freeze in pond.
Weather is really nice right now, this evening I am hanging Christmas lights by the pond. It is just around 30 f right now. Supposed to snow Wednesday. I want to have all the lights hung on trees by then.

Wish Santa would bring me a laptop for Christmas, tablet OK, but lap top would be faster to type. Down to 200 emails left to delete, had close to 4000 plugging up tablet and making things slow.

get a desk top colleen they are cheaper and battery does not go dead plus you can do so much with them and after christmas they always get lots cheaper .I bought this dell vista after christmas and only paid 279 dollars with a 24 inch flat screen monitor ,but do wish I had waited and not got a vista .I have been thinking of going on microsoft.com and deleting vista and downloading windows 8 for 40 dollars .I found out vista is not compatible with windows 8 so been having problems with the old vista .If I had known i would have stayed with windows 7

I knew one guy that took all the wood off the pallets and made a nice fence. Pallets can be turned into just about anything!

Sissy, sometimes the thought of getting that stuff figured out can be overwhelming. I never had a computer before so this is all new and sometimes I get mad at this tablet and want to chuck it, but does what I wanted it to do originally, store pictures cause love all my pictures, going to have a slide show when I get really old and move into the old folks home! Ha ha ha

The new microsoft pic computers are really easy you just touch the pic on the screen to do every thing and was looking at them online and in the store .So much easier and the same price as any others .It just uses touch technology .I have thousands of pics on my puter right now .The new ones don;t really let you make mistakes ,they correct everything for you .

Colleen, you get the most beautiful sunsets there, and always seems to be a "poof" going up into the sky where the sun went down, not like around here. And, gorgeous pink and purple colors, too.
The temps went down today, rather than up. This morning the guy on the radio kept saying "turning to mostly sunny skys this afternoon" ... well that didn't happen! It was cloudy and gloomy and windy and temps went from 35 or so when I left home, to 29 at lunchtime. Hoping for sunny skies tomorrow. I can take cold, just not cloudy and windy all the time.
My computer continues to give me fits. I'm not even sure if it's my computer (which is 3 years old, laptop), or the wireless router (which I bought a new one on Fri., from the internet provider's store, but my computer is not recognizing it, so I need to do something, and the stupid people won't call me back ... :grumble: ) or the internet. So far, when I click on the icon on bottom right it shows 4-5 bars of strength, so I'm leaning toward the router. I called them again, and more or less said either they call me at 8 a.m. before I have to leave for work at 8:15, or I'm bringing the router back in. They told me it was 1 year warranty, but then I see the box says "refurbished" all over it. When I questioned that, she replied, "Yeah, that's how we can sell them so cheap." I said I was told it had a 1 year warranty, and she said it did, but inside the box are 3 papers that all say 30 day warranty! I'll get that down in writing as well! And, now I've already tried 3 times to post this, no go ... this will be the 4th try. Been trying for over 7 minutes so you get the picture, tired of looking at my screen and "willing" it to MOVE! I normally would not wait this long, but curious how long it will take to get this to post. Learned to copy the text, too, so I don't have to retype it.

I think they refurbish every thing like that and sell it like it is new .Century link provides my modem and i just supply the router .I don't pay for the modem that is included in the 14.99 a month i pay .Right now for unlimited calling and modem and internet cost me 59 dollars a month .I plan on adding cell phone and direct tv to century link as it is much cheaper .Cell phone will cost me 19.99 a month for first phone and 5.99 for second phone and is linked to my home phone so no charge for calls .I am not sure about what direct tv will cost but it does come out cheaper than the 119 I pay now

Well CE, I see you are having trouble with your computer stuff too, wish I could help but I can help myself with this tabet. I did finally get rid of all the mail in my inbox today, so now tablet behaving better and not crashing anymore. Nice to have SuCCess FiNaLLy!

I do just love our sunsets here, lots of nice colors, big horizions too. It is pretty much flat here, little hills and big sky. I wonder if the cold weather makes the sky more colorful, or if the low position of the sun has anything to do with it, or maybe its the Chinook arch, or maybe a combination of all the above!
