I'm anxious to see if hubby is satisfied with it once he uses it. We have so many gardens, paths and landscaping that we don't actually have a lot of grass.
It takes a hour at highish speed to mow just the front area, add another hour to mow the back fields, with a lot of hills, = power use.

Strong to severe storms expected tomorrow evening. Damaging winds, hail, and tornados possible.
Also temps in the 60F's, and seeing multiple days with temps in the 50's. Maybe spring is finally coming?

Oh no the dreaded mowing is beginning! We are holding off as our grass seems stunted from all the hot weather we had last Summer. Dried it to the bone! If it doesn't come back maybe we can just dig everything up and build a giant moat around our whole house. An acre of just water, like being in Venice! Think this coffee is affecting my mind
sounds stronger than coffee

Do you use the tractor with a large brush cutter for the back? or does a zero turn do the job with a 60"

I use the bush hog around the edges, ie wild sticker growth, also bush hog the bee, butterfly, bird, bug gardens, ie wild gardens. In the spring cut them down.

My mower does a good job with chopping the growth, but I get smacked more by the overgrowth being lower to the ground. Sometimes I bush hog then do a mow of the same area. This is after I walk the area looking for mantis egg cases, saved around 30 this year.

Record breaking heat today.

What a mixed bag everywhere ! Still down to or slightly below freezing at night and 50 to 54 F in day time. Making me crazy cause my above ground stock tank water temp 38 F. and I really want to move my goldfish from aquarium back to the pond. But ya can't rush Mother nature. Sooooooon.

Our upcoming week. Looks like … maybe … spring has arrived to stay!!!
And our little angle/demon child, Lily! Haha she literally goes from giving you kisses and snuggling to biting your nose and toes! She’s a miniature poodle puppy, 9 weeks old yesterday. We picked her up last Friday. And besides getting a tummy ache on Wed, and going potty every 15-30 minutes, , has been perfect! Last two nights not even a whimper when hubby put her in her crate for bed. Sleeps until 6-7 am, too. She goes potty 90% of the time outside, too. We got super lucky!! ❤️
