We had snow yesterday but almost all gone today as lots of sunshine yesterday and today. I need another big blast of deep snow to get me through the winter.
After that, then let the sun and warmth rain down on me

Freezing rain this morning , now its 55°. Got a pump running in the lily pond again. The filter sprung a leak last week. The algae is out of control, taking over everything. I put in a dozen feeder goldfish last year. Figured a couple might make it to spring. I don't think we lost even one! Pumped out the holding area b3elow the bog. As usual its full of leaves and stinks. I won't make the mistake of letting that get into the main pond, cost me over half my fish the last time. Ponds are at 50 and the koi are looking for food!

Since we are all obsessed (that's what my mom from AZ says about me) with the weather, thought I would start a thread so we could post what the weather is like in our neck of the woods. This winter has sure had some mild weather across the US. Yesterday I sat and admired my fish many times, it drew me outside. The pond water was 46 degrees at the surface.
This morning, the fog has rolled in, it's 31 degrees, and the moisture on my deck is ice. I'm concerned about black ice on the roads, so will be leaving for work early. Still supposed to be above normal in temps (40's for highs and 30 for lows) the next 10 days, and mostly sunshine. Who could ask for more for February?
39dg this morning and a sunny 63 as of now

I guess my mother was right when she said people are obsessed with the weather!!! This will be the 1132nd post on this thread. Wow!
I’m in Cincinnati now, and Mother Nature needs to get back on her meds here just like many other cities in the U. S. Geesh … high 60’s today and going down to below freezing at night this weekend … again. But I won’t complaint too much, since the fish are awake, I spotted a large female bullfrog (assume female by her size!), daffodils are in full bloom, and my grandkids’ Nigerian Dwarf goat had a cute little buck kid. I spotted the lizard at a garden center today

I much prefer a month of 60’s rather than going from 50’s to 80’s!

Yesterday was weird weather! Sunny and windy (I have wind chimes that are 4’ long, when they get going, winds are 15 mph at least!), then a shower would pop up from nowhere, right back to sunny. Did this multiple times during the day. Temp stayed at 62 all night long!

Gonna be a bright sunshiny day up in the mid 50's. Perfect day for sorting the duckweed out of my frog pond plants...............actually no day is perfect for doing this task but alas I will accept my fate as someone on here warned me not to put duckweed in that pond. I should'a listened!
