So took away some of my wording in description of pond and fish peep on bottom now. Just would not stay up top next to queen. Think it looks fine now.

odd you can't put it to the right; I had a bunch all next to each other once, if you recall...and as you can see from my new siggy, I have all three of us now there, which should show you have enough room for TWO on your end. Play around with it and see if you can do it. Shouldn't have to actually 'save' until you're ready; it'll show you as you create it if it'll stick on one line or be bumped below. I know there's a limit (I tried and found it, eventually).

I did try over and over and it won't do it. Maybe it's something w/my computer. Also when I add one of the forum smilies at the end of a sentence I can't click enter after that and drop down to start another sentence w/o the smilie going w/ it. Have to delete the smilie, write the sentence and then go back and add the smilie when done
Like here it just did it. I had the smilie up next to the word done up there and when I clicked enter after it to start a new paragraph it jumped down where it is now.
:)Can't even get it to move now. Only the flashing bar goes behind to the right of it and not to the left of it so I can only delete it and not move it.

I think the issue is your screen size is too small, i.e. the screen size (at this resolution) you have chosen is LESS than what the forum software is thinking is normal size, so it starts putting it on the next line. IF you can, increase the resolution of your screen and it should be better for placement, but your fonts may get too small to be comfortable reading. I know when I chose TWO browsers open, one on each side of my computer screen and therefore HAVE to make each window smaller, stuff gets squished and repositioned just like you're saying.

Trying here on my laptop to see what happens
Same thing happens.
:)

I took a snapshot of my screen size:

Does this give a clue?

if you're using the forum full screen (even a bit smaller window on your desktop should be okay) then resolution is not your problem. There's something else going on but I'm not sure what. I'll try and place a bunch of my twirlys in a row, maybe even use your two gifs and see if I can do it...brb

No problem, @j.w ; I right clicked each of your gifs to 'copy image address', went to my siggy, used the 'add image' icon where it's 'url' tab is at the top, pressed paste into the box, return on my keyboard and voila! Did each individually and just put the cursor by the right of whatever was already in my siggy.

So, can be done; try the above and hopefully it'll work for you.

I can do that but it won't let me put any more space between them then what it is now. Can you put a big space between yours?

@brokensword This is what I set it up like but it won't stay w/the large space in between. I click save and it saves but when I go to the forum to check it there is no space.

the most space I could put between my tri-anigif and your 'Queen' gif was 22 spaces. I'd imagine you could put more if only having the Queen and lil fish. I'll leave this up so you can see what I mean. Very tired; spent all night working on a huge anigif, so be back later to check on any progress...

[edit] I see it didn't work; it looks fine in my siggy window but I can see it didn't take. I wonder if I put some words between...which would mean you could put a 'blank' gif that mimicks space...let me try...(I'll take a screen shot before changing everything)..

[edit #2] as you can see, putting letters in kept the space I had with spaces in my siggy. Seems the forum software doesn't recognize 'spaces' like that. So, you can try making a completely white gif and sticking it in between your two anigifs. That should show as empty to us but you'll know something is there. Not sure how large to tell you to make it, you may have to just do a trial and error, but if my example using text is correct, I think if you type something out that's 20 spaces wide, do a screenshot, take that into a graphics program, white out the letters, then save as a jpg/gif, you should get what you need. Again, some trial and error will probably be necessary.

Okay, off to sleep; again, I'll check in later today and see if you had sucess.
