95 104 heat index then some clouds and it dropped back a bit

Here's the sky this evening. Probably hard to tell, but it's all wildfire smoke. The sun looked pretty cool earlier, but I couldn't get a good photo through the trees.

40F this morning. Went from heat to cold in the last few mornings. It feels so GOOD! so tired of the heat.

Smoke in the air again today after a pretty nice clear day yesterday. Fog is mixing w/the smoke which ends up smog. We have been getting a bit of rain off and on during the nights and they say more is on the way and winds from the west will eventually help blow this stuff outta here hopefully! 59f now but will rise up to 80 this afternoon.

It's snowing out. Not expected to stick at all, but still disappointing. Not ready for winter again.

Well we recieved 12" of snow on Friday with -18c or 1.4f temps. Two days before I was working outside in a T shirt.

Today is supposed to be 70 and partly cloudy. It makes me laugh that this "highs in the upper 60s" stuff is what we consider "fall weather."

30's now and that is a warm up from yesterday which was in the 20's in the early morn and the sun was brightly shinning all day long. Made for a chilly walk!

Oh, my! Here it was actually warm-bordering-on HOT! Almost hit 75 with mostly sunny skies. But, the big changes are arriving here this weekend & it's looking like we're going to finally have a frost/freeze. Sad, because the butterfly ginger is blooming like crazy right now & I'm loving the smell! Ah well. It is almost November. I guess I've got to let the tender stuff go at some point in the near future.


As soon as we hit 32 degrees, I'm sure the Impatiens will let me know...
