Pouring rain, under flood watch again! Cold 55f, Friday was 89F geez. Can't we be "normal" i.e. 80

62 this morning and wee all went out yesterday as a family All 6 of us had a great time ,Breakfast and then the motor show and this got best in show at least to me ,then the flea market and bought these 2 metal boat art plaques for 5 dollars.got 2 tables a dollar each

Low 60s, not sure about the weather these days, went from 96 and humid Thursday, down into the 60s that night, still in the low 60s today.

We are up to 3 inches of rain, with this storm, the river is out of its banks again. Our house is totally safe we would need many many feet of rain to flood us.

We have off and on rain and feels like Fall has arrived. 53f now.

They just sent out a flood warning / watch. Our river Monocacy, at noon it was 10feet and rising, flood stage 15 feet.
it will rise above flood stage this evening and crest tomorrow am at 19 feet or more. We are safe, we just drove over it, already out of its normal banks.

We are at 3.5 inches of rain right now and still coming down.

The Dan river has been at flood stage and is up behind the stores onto the road back there .We had the heavy rain last night but most of it did not get down this far .Only an outer band hit us .The creek has over flowed it's banks here .

We are 35 mi. inland from the ocean, it is such a worry now. There won't be seawater in our house, but it is the wind that always scares me so much. Our house is well built though, can take high wind we hope. Grocery stores are busy like the end of the world is coming soon. We do have a generator. All prayers and good thoughts accepted here.

yeh saturday we stopped over in Eden to get something at walmart and it is never crowded but there were lines and they were buying everything on the shelves and all we went in for was to get batteries for my camera .Ended up getting them at the flea market instead

4 inches has fallen and we still have hours of rain coming.

We got heavy rain last night and getting more now .I am soaked trying to get all the cushions and chairs outside put away .I am trying to secure anything that could become a hazard .took the cover off the pond and took up the bridge boards because they are not screwed down yet .Took concrete blocks down to secure the metal swing .

Rained here all night but finally stopped. Nothing at all like you guys are getting east of us! 57f right now.
