More of the same, hazy sun, low temp of 56 and must be smoke. Clearing my throat more and runny nose. My body does not like it!

Here we are getting dust from the foresters cutting trees again .They are about 1 to 2 miles from my house .It is strange to stand on the front porch and see a tree shake and then go down .They use all the new cutting methods .The truck clamps the tree and then below that it cuts the tree and then it turns it side ways and puts it into the debrancher into a truck for mulch it goes and then the rest of the tree is put on a flat bed truck .The trees take a long time to grow but only a few minutes to take down You here the saw and screeching noise

Lots of flooding last night, no rain currently hope it stays that way for awhile.

We got another 2 inches of rain yesterday, south and east they got many inches of rain. Flash floods street floods people rescued from their cars.

Very heavy rain today. It's meant to stay this way through to tomorrow.

Tons of rain yesterday so ponds got a good top off. Power went out for 3 hours and then circuit on one pond didn't reset. Need to check for damp connection or overloaded circuit.

supposed to get back up to the mid 90's again here with high humidity

Sky getting dark again and no rain forcast. Got all filters cleaned and found photocell timer for lights was on ground where there was runoff so hopefully that solves power issues.

Still smokey and another red sun this morning. Supposed to get some rain maybe tomorrow and the weekend. That should give us some clearing. One thing, the smoke is holding our temps down as they say it would be up in the 90's all these days but it only gets to the mid 80's instead. It is so horrible not being able to sleep w/the windows open. We have 3 fans going but it's so warm inside at night!

put bucket of ice behind your fan it will blow the cool from it around the room

just make sure you put a tray under the bucket to catch the sweating the bucket will do .My mom used to do it growing up because we had no air conditioning.

While my main weather station is at my friend's house I have a little one set up on our apartment patio. Not the best place for one but it works.

Hot, sunny and muggy is what we got.

A balmy 39F here this morning.
Supposed to get up to 50.

Well we are down to 95% humidity but already up to almost 80 degrees at 9 am .
