I've been loving it!

I'm not a huge fan of 90's + humidity, but at this time of year I'll take what I can get. It felt a lot like summer over the past few days, even more like summer than summer felt. A month from now, we could be seeing light snow showers and freezing overnight temps, so I'm more than happy to see the warmth and sun. It blows my mind that we're 6 days away from October. I say it every year but once we hit April, it's like a time warp happens and all of the sudden it's October.

It always hits me when we get that first cool overcast day in October with those really thick low-hanging clouds. And yes, that could be a matter of days away despite this hot blast we are getting.

Two more hot days and the cold front is moving in, Marie is moving away after it causes some beach damage, high surf. Our cold will be beautiful 70's.

72 today and wow heading back up to high 70's tomorrow and 80's Thursday and then "Whamo" back to 60's and rain on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and on an on...........................

Currently 62°F and cloudy. We had a little bit of rain yesterday, which is great because we're in a moderate drought, but we need a lot more. The grass is turning more and more brown every day, and there are some pretty large cracks out in my native garden.

I mowed the dust bowl yesterday and today it will be dry again w/temps almost to 80!

Remember when we still had more than an hour of sunlight left. Funny because it is still as warm now as it was then, maybe not quite as much. The cold is coming... burr 45F haha @MitchM

I can't complain. Weather is still quite nice and have not had any frost yet, although last week we came close to freezing on a couple nights. This week has been nicer and even hot during the afternoon.

Summer was so very busy for me, moved my mother out of her condo and into a nice retirement home, finally sold the condo after three weeks on the market. Many people told me it would be very hard to sell, but we fixed it up and "staged" the condo with brand new furniture and it sold very quick. Now much less stress and don't have to pay condo fees or taxes on it anymore.

Then my dad died the same day the condo sale was finalized. Then I had to plan the whole funeral myself and it was a very nice funeral people said. I had a nice luncheon after the funeral and it turned out to be a nice family reunion and got to finally meet my Aunties and uncle on my dads side of the family. Now I see where I came from as we all inherited the same mouth and teeth!

Sorry your dad passed and you had to take full responsibility for everything too. Good you got to be w/your long lost family and enjoy some nice times and share your teeth

Our weather is still nice here too but tomorrow the rains come back and will prolly be here forever but we did have a good warm run of it this Summer. I can't complain but I will be soon w/the rains.
