They lie here, it used to be 7b and then for some reason they changed it to 8b. We have gotten as low as -6 here and do get in the teens in a lot of winters here. So phooey on the zoner dudes 
Who knows maybe they have changed it back again. I will have to check.

Do you get that cold? Thing is we do get colder than that and I guess that is when it takes the plants. Actually I think I should change mine to 8a cuz hard to tell where the yellow turns lighter on the map.

We have gotten freeze warnings and maybe had a winter in the teens. We've even had a day of snow.
We are already in the 80's today and it's been raining so it's super muggy. I just left Lowe's...Again. More plants and an outdoor rug. I'm a mess.

I swear, the weather needs some lithium or something!
We're camping at the beach in 2 weeks, so we're trying to make the decision to tent or purchase a used pop-up camper. I'd prefer a pop-up (i had one, sold it for a 30 footer, which got damaged...) simply because of the need for dry land in case it rains!
I love camping, but I'm at an age where I also like a little comfort, at least, if it's rainy.
My fiance has a really bad back-chronic pain, so I think a popup would be better for him. Of course my kids want to tent it, and so THEY will!

We were at 87 yesterday but sister and I fought it together at the flea market and found our bargains .Got this for my great grandson for 40 dollars his other one broke and got son this for his desk a whole dollar and lots of other stuff.I even got a box of sea shells for free and bonus found out third great grandchild on the way .Number 2 is soon to be born Due by June 16th
