Yesterday was gorgeous-75 and sunny. We spent the whole day sleeping-spent the night in the ER with kid#3...he's fine. Just a little scare that needed checking.
The pond pump came and we were too tired to do anything with it!

Today looks relatively clear, so it's finally set up the pump day! I'm too excited. If I wake my fiance up now he'll kill me-he worked until midnight last night...
hmmmm....will he really kill me, or just chase me with a blunt object...I can run fast...

Make sure the doors are unlocked so you can get out fast and have car keys ready so you can lock your self in there .

70°F already and expected to be in the 80s for the next three days! Summer time has arrived, although Spring was a bit of a rip off this year. We had so much rain and wind that I didn't get to enjoy as much of it as I'd like.

Although, figures it's going to be 80 today, because I have to dig 9 holes for the trees I received from the Arbor Day Foundation. Been wanting to add more trees to the yard for years.

I had a deer visit my apple tree last night with her twins and well all the apples in her reach are gone .oh well .They drank the water in the tub and headed for the woods . I wish I could get a camera that takes nigh pics ,but they are not cheap .

Yesterday was perfect! It's been raining for days, and we have more rain coming but it cleared up in the afternoon. I found a set of patio furniture, nice metal set of 2 loveseats, 2 chairs, all the cushions, and a table for $100. It cleared up long enough for me to get it all to the house. It was going to be for the sunroom but I ended up pulling my table and putting it on our patio with a fire pit I had. I've got some pressure washing to do on the patio and add some plants but I am in love with how open the area is now. I can completely see the pond from the seating area. So great day!!! I also picked up 3 cannas for the pond.
I could pee I'm so excited about all my goodies from yesterday!!!!

you need to spray paint the chairs a bright tropical color to feel like you went on vacation

I figure I'll get some bright flowers going and maybe an outdoor rug.

Love the pretty Canna's but they won't survive the winters here, I tried.

I'm hoping they'll do fine in the bog here year round.

I bet they will cuz your temps don't get that cold in winter. When I bought mine they made it through two winters and then we had a bad one and poof they were gone!
