Just got in from clearing snow since 8 this morning. It was a dry snow, but I guess between the winds and letting it sit overnight really compressed it. We still have more to do, but at least we dug out the 3 vehicles and can turn around and get out of the driveway. Tomorrow I'll clear down to the warehouse. It was sunny for a while, but it has turned gray and windy, and it is snowing again.

Looks like you guys got quite a charge!

I'm beginning to feel bad for J.W.! I mean, look at all she's missed! I know she's putting on a brave face, and acting like she's enjoying all the heat and pretty days, but all she can post is sunshine, warm temps, and just another Arizona day. Where's the fun in that?:)

56 here in south central Oregon and my pond is now ice free. A week ago, the ice was 8" thick. That's a lot of melting in a short time! It's clouded over with a bit of rain coming down. Tomorrow the sun will be back and we might make 60 again!

The water temperature is up to 38 in the flowing stream part. I had 3 dead goldfish, but 4 survived and are swimming around enjoying the warmth and light. I'm really a bit surprised, I thought they would all be dead after 3 months of the pond completely frozen over, before the 30" of snow fell on top of the ice.

Inside, I have a bunch of baby bronze corydorus catfish. After 3 years, they have suddenly started laying eggs on the glass of the aquarium every couple months. So we have some that are now a couple months old and some that just hatched. I've had cory's off and on since I was in 4th grade in the mid 60s. Now I'm in my mid 60s! They've always been a favorite of mine, so comical and active.

I have some adolfo corys that are constantly spawning.
Definitely one of my favorite fish as well.(y)

They're saying 33 for us and partly sunny. Let's get this melting started!
I just went out and got rid of the 6 inches of snow ice cap on my poor car. One the ice cap was removed the lower snow was powder, still some ice on the car but it is in the sun, it should melt.

Our snow is melting fairly quickly. Lost quite a few inches yesterday. We get back around average temps today (average is 42°F), and we might even see 50° on the first day of Spring. I imagine with the warmer temps and rain, much of the snow will be gone by then.
