lol enjoy! We are winter storm warning, it is snowing still
I went out and cleaned the bottom board off so the bees can get out. And ventilation. We removed the upper entrance during the feeding we have been doing so there would be minimal robbing.

addy...love that you have these cameras. What brand are they?

It is really picking up here.
1st arrow: an apple tree about 300 feet from our house
2nd arrow: huge pine trees (shadows) about 900 feet from our house at the back of our property

We are having drizzle snow, comes and goes.

I have been using the q-see cameras for years now, usually buy a package at Costco when they have them on sale.
16 cams, only 3 not watching critters and the yard.
Updated to HD in 2014, better than the ones I had before.
There is a better one out now, but we are fine with what we have.

Thanks. I like the idea of having them placed around the property to watch what's going on.
It has saved our ponds, we left for Florida, years ago, when I dialed in to look at the yard and ponds the big pond had dropped over a foot in the two days we were gone.

I was able to take the PTZ cam and track my neighbor around the pond showing her what to look for, she found the issue, leaves over a out put in the small pond, now covered with a leaf guard.

Looks like it's done. We didn't get any more. There's still snow about 4 miles east of here but it looks like it's staying east. It's quite amazing. We got about 10" here, but just a few miles East, they got 17"!

I was planning on starting up my pond this weekend. The storm wasn't supposed to hit us, and even where it was supposed to hit, they were only expecting 3" of snow. Thing sure did change in a hurry. Pond will be closed for at least a couple more weeks now.

Just got in from clearing snow since 8 this morning. It was a dry snow, but I guess between the winds and letting it sit overnight really compressed it. We still have more to do, but at least we dug out the 3 vehicles and can turn around and get out of the driveway. Tomorrow I'll clear down to the warehouse. It was sunny for a while, but it has turned gray and windy, and it is snowing again.
