.................... You guys sit back indoors and enjoy the show and be careful!

Seriously, that - for us - is the saving grace of our type of weather. We get a nor'easter, sit back, let it blow out, then go out and clean it up. It's a nuisance, but my heart goes out to the folks that have to deal with tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods that take away a life's work and all of the remembrances.

And the snow goes away pretty fast, at least here.

I have the tractor sitting in the driveway covered with a tarp ready to go and clean up our drive, no way we would shovel it, over 200 feet long.

All cars are put away moved ready to be buried.

Yep!

Boy I sure miss the cactus blooms, they are so pretty this time of year. Make sure to go out into different parts of the desert, you will find all sorts of blooms.

It has started snowing, three hours ahead of time. We might be in trouble. But we don't have to go anywhere so safe at home.

You folks in the east that are getting the snow, do you still have ground frost, and if not, isn't the snow a good thing?
(It'll soak into the ground)

We are in a drought, this snow is needed. A nice slow melt into the ground to get some moisture back.

Mitchm we just dug, with a shovel, a 1.5 foot deep hole with out much effort. No frost here.
It was nice and cold the bees were sleeping so we started digging. Easier to dig without your bee suit on.
