My own rule is that I do not put the snow shovels and snowbrush for the car away until Tax Day.

My daughter reminds me every year that we had 14 inches of snow on May 10 one year - one day before her 10th birthday. Now THAT was weird!

Yup - saw lots of signs of green in and around the pond this week. It always feels so good, doesn't it? New life - we made it through another winter!

Ha Have fun! My uncle and his family left today for Cancun. I'm jealous!
Our weather has been wonderful. I've planted 25 rose bushes, put in flower beds, weeeded, mowed my yard, pressure washed the fence. It's in the 70's and great yard working weather!
