42 right now and tomorrow 46, not too bad.But rain comes w/the warmth here.
Stepped into my Fegusons looking for an industrial valve. Wow what an awesome showroom! Told my wife I'd take her there for our new dinning room light. Still can't understand why I did that.51 right now .I contacted fergusons.com about the navien water heater and was surprised by the online store and the showroom .They are cheaper than lowes or home depot for the appliances I bought and the over the range microwave is 20 dollars cheaper than lowes or HD .Even the dishwasher is cheaper .I checked the online store for the products they sell .I was really shocked they would be cheaper being a showroom .They have a showroom in Martinsville I have passed for years and never knewdummy me
I have to go today or tomorrow .They were closed yesterday and have to check out the fireplace .I still don't understand the one I have it has a blower and it works but does not blow anything from it .Then I have this pipe that comes into the basement from the fireplace,I turned on the blower but no air comes out of it and it seems to suck any air into it .Any one have any clue .I see stink bugs in it that are dead .I am going to take a flashlight down and try to look up into it View attachment 96950 View attachment 96949 .62 degrees for today and chance of a thunderstorm .
Gosh, I have no idea what that pipe could be. Is this a wood burning fireplace? When I read through your post I thought it might be a means to ash disposal, but seeing the picture, I don't think so.I have to go today or tomorrow .They were closed yesterday and have to check out the fireplace .I still don't understand the one I have it has a blower and it works but does not blow anything from it .Then I have this pipe that comes into the basement from the fireplace,I turned on the blower but no air comes out of it and it seems to suck any air into it .Any one have any clue .I see stink bugs in it that are dead .I am going to take a flashlight down and try to look up into it View attachment 96950 View attachment 96949 .62 degrees for today and chance of a thunderstorm .
I am not sure how to take it apart inside and it is a desa unit fan kit says it is bk3 and unit says it is model number c36emw-r .The fan is not sucking air in or blowing air out the top .I had a blower on my masonry fireplace in NJ and this one runs but no air goes in and no air comes out .I got the books out that came with the unit and it has nothing in as to how to remove the fake walls or floor of the unit .I don't want to have the propane one put in until I figure this fan out .In the book it talks about outside air kit is in the floor of the house and is ak-6 kit .It talks about in the book of the double wall chimney system Talks about outer pipe being galvinized and inner pipe being stainless steel .I wonder if that could be used to make it a direct vent unit instead since they provide more heat and don't burn your indoor air and they do not produce the smells like unvented do
