First thing this morning, freezing rain. Just an itty-bitty bit! Then snow, quickly turning to slush, Around 10:00 am it was raining again, and hasn't slowed down at all! All in all, a very crappy day! :(

The news is on about taking shelter, these storms that are coming are horrible. Gulf ball size hail, tornado, winds. Fast moving storms.
We were 43 f 15 minutes ago, now 61F that is what is feeding these storms.

Too late I went off the computer to talk to my friend up the road. Now I am looking and can't see much going on. Your bird feeders aren't swinging so guess the wind is not too bad. I see some movement in some bushes but nothing much. They are talking on the news about places getting hit pretty bad near Virginia, and so on moving up the east coast. Hope everyone is able to pull through w/o damages.

The worse of the storm stayed south of us. We got 1.75 inches of rain, 30 mph winds, lots and lots of thunder and lightening. The pond got a good flush!

You should be fine Colleen!

We are going to be warmer then normal. Yesterday we had 145 tornado warnings, that never happens here at the end of February! Here being North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland area.

Saw some of the destruction on the morning news, Addy. All I could think of was: "I hope none of our ponders were in the path!"

I got a good pond flush. Mrsclem might have had damage, she is eastern shore, where it hit harder.
The wind is howling now, we might have trees drop, the ground is so wet. The ones here that fall, are mainly the ones in our woods, no biggy I never go back there.
